The 3 rd day camp was at Rumah Hassan, at Kg Rantau Panjang. This Camp site was about 75 mins from Kg Duyoh Homestay ( Bau ) where we were staying after the second Camp. This meant that the “recce” team had to wake up at 5.45am to leave Kg Duyoh at 6.30am. We managed. This “recce” team were volunteers.

Breakfast at Batu Kawa. Sarawak Kolomee of courseWe were 10 mins from Camp site, and time was 7.15 amCamp to start at 8am.

This is the house of Hassan.Space was limited.Registration was out at the small pouch.

Space was limited, so screening was all done at the entrance to the small hall.A bit cramp, but worked well, until the heat came at 12 noon

The pharmacy was in the verandah outside the house.Looks comfy before the rain. Not so hot.

Even the local friendly policemen came.I asked them whether this was official duty or for check up.We checked them too.

This waiting area is shared by patients for dentist and eye.Not sure who these patients are waiting for.Mr Mordi ( DAP ) in red nearest camera is chatting with patients

Of course we had VIP too.YB Christina Chiew ( Batu Kawa ) and YB Lim Kit Siang ( Gelang Petah ).Kit Siang was there for a forum that evening

One for the album, before we broke for lunch and short rest at YB Christina’s office. I called that the air con break. It was hot and humid in the house.Hi, where are the eye and dental team?

At 4.30 pm, the skies open and the rain came.We were trying to protect our drugs.

We stopped after the last patient at about 7pm.Beautiful night sky.The rain had stopped.Time for dinner

Seafood dinner at Kuching for all, medical team and volunteers.It was a long day. Back to the Hotel soon for bath and restOne more day to go.
