8/2/2019 Four Laws [Gospel Tract] - Tigrenya, Tigrinya
Man was created to have fellowship with God; but, because of man's sin, this fellowship with God was broken. The violation of God's law, the Bible calls sin.
MAN IS SINFUL
“All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God”(Romans 3:23).
qwÖòÑa@ÝR I;C FaR ÃÜòHow to Know God Personally
The following four laws help us to know God personally and have a purpose in life.
God LOVES us and created us to have
a personal relationship with Him.
THE LOVE OF GOD
“God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not
perish, but have eternal life” (John 3:16 NIV).
GOD'S PLAN
[Jesus is praying to the Father]: "And this is eternallife, that they may know You, the only true God, and
Jesus Christ whom you have sent." (John 17:3)
Why is it that most people are not experiencing the abundant life and this relationship with God?
“God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us”(Romans 5:8).
HE HAS RISEN FROM THE DEAD
“Christ died for our sins...He was buried...He wasraised on the third day, according to theScriptures...He appeared to Peter, then to the twelve.
After that He appeared to more than five hundred….”(1 Corinthians 15:3-6).
HE IS THE ONLY WAY TO GOD
“I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no onecomes to the Father, but through Me’” (John 14:6).
MAN IS SEPARATED FROM GOD
“The wages of sin is death” (Romans 6:23).
Sin is eternal separation from God.
This diagram illustrates that God isholy and man is sinful. A great gulf separates the two. Mankind by hisown efforts cannot have arelationship with God.
The third law shows there can be a bridge between God and man...

“As many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, even to those who believein His name” (John 1:12)
WE RECEIVE JESUS IN OUR HEART BY FAITH
“For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—not by works, so that no one can boast.”(Ephesians 2:8,9)
WHEN WE RECEIVE CHRIST, WE EXPERIENCE
A NEW BIRTH
(Read John 3:1-8)
WE RECEIVE JESUS WHEN WE INVITE HIM
PERSONALLY
[He is saying:] “Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If any one hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with him and he with Me”(Revelation 3:20).
God has bridged the gulf separatingus from Him by sending His SonJesus to die in our place. Jesus Christdied on the cross and paid our debt.
The first diagram shows a person who has not madeJesus Christ the lord of his life. Because Jesus Christis outside his life, he has no assurance of eternal lifeThis is an example of a person without goals becauseself sets the boundaries of his conduct.
The second diagram shows a man who has entrustedhis life to Jesus Christ. His sins have been forgivenand he enjoys the love of God in his life every day.
Which diagram illustrates your life?
The following explains how you can do this:
YOU CAN RECEIVE CHRIST RIGHT NOW BY
FAITH THROUGH PRAYER
Prayer is simply talking to God. The following is asuggested prayer:
"Lord Jesus, I want to know you as my personal
Saviour. I thank you for dying on the cross in my
place. I open the door of my heart and my life to
you. I accept you as my Saviour and the Lord of my life. I thank you for giving me eternal life and
forgiving my sins. Guide my life according to your
will.
Does this prayer express the desire of your heart?
If it does, I invite you to pray this prayer right now, andChrist will come into your life, as He promised.
You know that Jesus has become the Lord of your lifebecause of His promises. God never fails. The Word of God tells us: “God has said: ‘I will never leave you; I will never forsake you.’” ( Hebrews 13:5)
When you receive Jesus in your heart:
1 He comes into your life and becomes lord of your life.(Revelation 3:20)
2 Your sins are fully forgiven. (Colossians 1:14)
3 You are a child of God. (John 1:12)
4 You receive eternal life (John 5:24)
5 You begin the new, eternal life for which God createdyou. (2 Corinthians 5:17)
The decision to accept Jesus Christ in our heart shoulddepend on the word of God and not on feelings. Thetrain diagram shows the relationship between the word of God, faith and feelings.
The final authority for the Christian is the Word of God(the Bible) and not his feelings, his impressions. TheChristian lives by by faith (trust) in the the trustworthinessof God Himself and His Word. His Word shows us thepromises for our salvation. Then feelings follow. Therefore we should always depend on the sure foundation
of the Word and not feelings.
AFTER RECEIVING JESUS IN OUR HEARTS
Here are some suggestions for growth after experiencingsalvation:
1 Beginning each day with prayer. (John 15:7)
2 Read the Bible daily. (Acts 17:11) It's a good idea tostart with the Gospel of John.
3 Take part in Church activities: Bible study, reading theBible, praying and giving thanks.
If we do this, our salvation become more real, our spirituallife grows stronger and our faith in God's promises isstrengthened.
