Reviewed on The Knot

“My experience with planning my wedding ceremony and reception at the Kellogg House was fun and stress-free from start to finish. Jacqueline was always very helpful and quick to answer any questions my husband, and I had. The packages they offer are great and include many of the essentials. The site itself is gorgeous with lots of greenery and did not need the addition of many floral arrangements to make it shine. On the actual day of the wedding, the staff was incredibly helpful and attentive, always making sure my husband and I were okay and asking if we needed anything. I would highly recommend the Kellogg House to anyone looking for a beautiful outside venue for their ceremony and reception. We receive nonstop compliments from family and friends about how the venue was such a hidden gem and how delicious the food was.”

Note of Gratitude

Note of Appreciation - Frank BuckThe Foundation would like to recognize Frank Buck for his five years of service to Foundation Dining Services.

Buck works at Campus Center Marketplace (CCMP) in the Housekeeping Department and is currently a trainer working towards becoming a Lead at Campus Center Marketplace Dining. He is well liked by all of his peers and is known at the Foundation for always offering a smile to everyone he crosses paths with. In addition to his kind personality and infectious smile, Frank is known for his articulate training skills and his ability to form positive relationships with everyone who steps foot in CCMP.

“Being in Frank’s presence makes the world seem like a better place,” says Aaron Neilson, Director of Dining Services. “He is the kind-hearted ‘mayor’ of Campus Center Marketplace.”

Frank has continuously supported Cal Poly Pomona and the Foundation by attending Cal Poly Pomona Day at the Los Angeles County Fair, the Cal Poly Pomona Pumpkin Festival and all Foundation events including birthday and retirement celebrations.

“We are lucky to have him and appreciate everything he does for our customers,” says Sandy Cain, Multi-Unit Manager for Foundation Dining Services. “He is a sweet and positive guy who is always great to be around.”
