The Singleton Business Chamber is running an essay competition for female High School Students to
celebrate International Women’s Day.
The competition will raise awareness of International Women’s Day amongst students, and celebrate our future leading women. The competition details are:
• topic: What does International Women’s Day mean to me?
• 500-word essay submitted in PDF format
• essays to be submitted by Friday 24 February 2017
• cover page with student name, signature, year, school
• essays cannot be plagiarised
• all direct quotes must be referenced
The top 5 entries from your school will be invited to join our International Women’s Day presentation at the Charbonnier, Wednesday 8 March 2017 from 10am – 12pm.
The winning entry will also be invited to attend the lunch following the presentations. They will be given the opportunity to read their winning essay to the audience.

Rego Day is Wed 15 Feb 5.30 - 7.00pm at our Clubhouse.
