Aishah Bidin

Erol Kiresepi
Erol is Chairman and CEO of Santa Farma Pharmaceuticals, which is based in
Turkey and has served the healthcare industry since 1944. He is President of
Pharmaceutical Sector Committee of the Istanbul Chamber of Industry and
Vice President of the Turkish Confederation of Employer Associations
Linda Kromjong
Linda is Secretary-General of the International Organisation of Employers
with overall responsibility for the management of the IOE Secretariat in its
advocacy on behalf of the global employer and business community. Prior
to this, Linda was Vice-President, Labor Relations International & Human
Rights for Deutsche Post DHL.
Lee Sung-ho
Sung-ho is Chairperson of the National Human Rights Commission of Korea.
He was a professional judge for 30 years serving in the following positions:
Judge at the Seoul High Court, Research Judge at the Supreme Court, Chief
at Cheonan Branch of Daejeon District Court, and First Chief Judge at the
Seoul High Court and the Patent Court of Korea.
Shauna Leven
Shauna is Director of Anti-Corruption Campaigns at Global Witness. Prior to
this, she was Executive Director of the René Cassin Foundation and a Legal
Advisor to the Liberian Government and she worked in litigation at
McGuireWoods LLP in New York. Shauna holds a Juris Doctor from Emory
University School of Law in Atlanta.
Rafael Marques de Morais
Rafael is an Angolan investigative journalist and the winner of the 2015
Index on Censorship award. In 2009, he founded the watchdog website
“Maka,” dedicated to exposing corruption and human rights abuses in his
country. He is the author of the 2011 book “Blood Diamonds: Corruption
and Torture in Angola.”
Dan McDougall
Dan is an award-winning Foreign Correspondent and Creative Director of
Miran, which specialises in content creation for some of the world’s biggest
firms. He is an investigative journalist and has reported from over 110
countries and conflict zones. Dan also lectures on Sustainability at
Cambridge University.
Mthunzi Mdwaba
Mthunzi is Founder and CEO of TZoro IBC, an investment, commodity
trading and consulting company based in South Africa. He is chair of the CSR
and the Business Human Rights Policy Working Group of the International
Organisation of Employers. He is also an ILO governing body member and a
B20 (Business 20) representative for South Africa.
Michael Meehan
Michael is Chief Executive of Global Reporting Initiative, which helps
businesses, governments and others to understand and communicate the
impact of business on critical sustainability issues such as climate change,
human rights, and corruption etc. Michael was voted one of the "Top CEOs
to Follow" by BusinessWeek magazine.
Mark Nordstrom
Mark is Senior Counsel for Labor and Employment Law at General Electric
Co. He is responsible for the legal aspects of GE’s human resource policies
and practices and human rights practices. Mark is Chairman of the Pro
Bono Partnership, on the Board of the American Employment Law Council,
and is a member of the UN Global Compact Human Rights Working Group.
Katie Redford
Katie is the Co-Founder and Director of EarthRights International, a non-
profit group of lawyers, activists and teachers with expertise in human
rights and environmental advocacy. She is a human rights lawyer with
expertise in environmental justice and corporate accountability and a
member of the US Supreme Court Bar and the Massachusetts Bar.
Caroline Rees
Caroline is President of Shift, a leading center of expertise on the UN
Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights. From 2007 to 2011 she
worked as a lead advisor to the former Special Representative of the UN
Secretary-General for Business and Human Rights, Professor John Ruggie.
Caroline previously spent 14 years at the UK Foreign Office.
Tone Skogen
Tone is State Secretary at Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. She
previously worked at the Ministry of Petroleum and Energy, including as
acting Director General from 2013. Tone has also worked in the Ministry of
Trade and Industry and as an energy advisor at the Norwegian Mission to
the EU in Brussels.
Debbie Stothard
Debbie is Secretary-General of FIDH (International Federation for Human
Rights). She is an active promoter of human rights in Burma and the Asean
region through her additional work as Coordinator and Founder at Altsean-
Burma (Alternative ASEAN Network on Burma).
Victoria Tauli-Corpuz
Victoria is UN Special Rapporteur on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples. She
is an indigenous leader from the Kankanaey Igorot people of the Cordillera
Region in the Philippines. She has worked as a social development
consultant, an indigenous activist, a civic leader, a human rights expert and
an advocate of women's rights in the Philippines.
Steve Waygood
Steve is Chief Responsible Investment Officer of Aviva Investors. His team is
responsible for integrating ESG issues across all asset classes and regions of
the c£250bn of assets under management. Steve founded the Sustainable
Stock Exchange initiative as well as the Corporate Sustainability Reporting
Coalition. He helped write the UN Principles for Responsible Investment.
Chair of the 2015 Forum
Diana Chávez
Diana is Executive Director of the Latin America and Caribbean Support
Center of the UN Global Compact. She has worked on foreign investment for
the Mexican government and for the UN Development Program. Diana was
named one of the 100 most influential people in Latin America by FIIAPP. She
is a board member of the Canadian Government’s CSR Advisory Committee
and the Ibero-American Secretariat Global Forum on Sustainability.
UN Working Group on Business and Human Rights
Margaret Jungk (Chair)
Margaret is the current chair of the UN Working Group on Business and
Human Rights. She has Ph.D. in political science, specializing in international
human rights law (University of Cambridge) and was the founder and director
of the Human Rights and Business Department at the Danish Institute for
Human Rights.
Michael Addo
Michael is Senior Lecturer at the University of Exeter (UK) where he
researches and teaches international law, human rights and human rights &
business policy at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. He is a
lawyer by training and an advocate at the Ghana Bar.
Dante Pesce
Dante joined the Working Group in 2015. He is the founder and Executive
Director of the VINCULAR Center for Social Responsibility and Sustainable
Development at the Catholic University of Valparaíso, Chile. The Centre
works across Latin America in outreach, capacity building and advisory
services related to sustainability and responsible business practices.
Puvan Selvanathan
Puvan is Head of the International Trade Centre office to the UN. Before that
he was a Special Advisor to the UN Global Compact and led the creation of its
Food & Agriculture Business Principles. He is also a member of the
Stakeholder Council of the ISEAL Alliance, the global association for
sustainability standards.
Pavel Sulyandziga
Pavel is a member of the Civic Chamber of the Russian Federation and
advisor to the president of RAIPON (“Russian Association of Indigenous
Peoples of the North, Siberia and the Far East”). From 2005 to 2010 he was a
member of the UN Permanent Forum on Indigenous Issues. He is a member
of the Civic Chamber of the Russian Federation.
