1. Read installation instructions thoroughly before commencing installation. Open the bonnet and thoroughly clean and dry headlamps and surrounding areas. See Dia #1.
2. Trial fit the Headlamp Cover centrally on the headlamp.
Note the two slots at the top of the Headlamp Cover and mark these locations onto the headlamp assembly.
Note the two holes at the bottom of the Headlamp Cover and mark these locations onto the headlamp assembly.
See Dia #2.
Note: Use a Non-Permanent Marker.
3. At the previously noted and marked locations, clean the headlamp lens with the alcohol wipe provided. Remove any residue with a clean dry cloth.
Fit the Headlamp Cover centrally on the headlamp, holding it approximately 1-2cm off the headlamp surface.
4. Using a trim removal tool carefully remove the chrome headlight surround fascia

Check: - Ensure panel or vehicle is not damaged - Take care not to damage clips - Store the trim piece in a safe place to avoid damage

Adhere the anti-abrasive tapes to the hole and slot locations. Approximately two thirds of the anti-abrasive tape should be on the headlight surface.

5. Remove the seven screws holding the fascia panel backing as shown. Retain the screws.
6. Remove and retain the Grille Fastener as shown.

7. Carefully remove the fascia panel backing.
Hook the Top Inner metal clip over the edge of the fascia backing panel.
Align the fascia panel backing carefully with the guide posts on the headlamp and gently push the fascia panel backing with the clip back into place.
Check that all seven screw holes and the three guide posts are aligned and the panel is in the correct position. See Dia #7.

8. Re-install the 7 screws back into the fascia panel backing and tighten to the specified torque rating.
Note: Ensure torque setting 0.5~0.8Nm is used.

9. Re-install the grille fastener and tighten to the specified torque rating.
Note: Ensure torque setting 0.6~1.6Nm is used.

10. Carefully align and engage the Chrome Fascia Panel into position.
Gently push and engage the panel into the backing until it is well seated in its original position.

A. Install the clip by hooking it under the chrome fascia.
B. Press the clip down over the headlamp.
Check: - the clip is flat to the headlamp top profile. - the metal clip is located on the anti-abrasive tape and not on the headlamp lens.

11. At the previously noted and marked Top Outer Slot position, fit the top outer metal clip to the top of the headlamp.

13. Loosely secure the Headlamp Cover to the metal clips with the screws and washers provided.
Tighten the bottom screws to the specified torque setting.
Note: Ensure torque setting 0.5~0.8Nm is used.

A. Install the clip by hooking it into the gap between the headlamp and vehicle bumper.
B. Press the clip down over the headlamp.
Check: - the clip is flat to the headlamp top profile. - the metal clip is located on the anti-abrasive tape and not on the headlamp lens.

12. At the previously noted and marked Bottom hole positions, fit the two bottom metal clips to the headlamp.

14. Tighten the screws at the top metal clip locations to the specified torque setting, while applying upwards pressure to the Headlamp Cover.
See Dia #14.
Ensure the top clip screw is as close as possibleto the bottom of the vertical Headlamp Cover slot.
Ensure torque setting 0.5~0.8Nm is used.Note:
Repeat steps 1-14 for LHS.
IMPORTANT: Conduct final inspection, ensuring all screws are tightened, and clips are correctly installed and not touching the headlamp surface.
TO REMOVE : Remove screws and washers, then removeHeadlamp Cover from the Headlamp Assembly.
