What’s Force?

Force is associated with push or pull resulting in motion of a body.

Force can be divided into two types: i) Contact Force ii) Non Contact Force

Contact Force

The source of force that comes from contact with the object on which the the force is applied.

Muscular Force

The muscular force comes from muscles of man or animals. Every physical activity comes with a use a muscle , Hence they are muscular forces.

Frictional Force

friction is the force which comes into play when

an moves in contact with the surface of the other.

Cycling

Walking.

Non Contact Force

The source of force and the object on which the

force acts may remain distance from another.

There are three types of non contact

force: i) Gravitational Force ii) Magnetic Force iii) Electro Static Force

Gravitational Force

The pull force of the earth is called gravity.

Magnetic force is a force which is exerted when a magnet pulls something.

If you rub a comb in your head and place it near some bits of paper, the papers gets raised.
