These meetings are designed with you in mind: common questions and challenges will be addressed by our diverse speakers and topics. Join us at any location to learn to: balance forage growth, match livestock needs with forages, manage mixtures, grow quality alfalfa, and see a collection of successes and lessons learned in the Season Summary.Dr. Ed Rayburn is the Extension forage agronomist at West Virginia University. He brings a wealth of knowledge, but will focus his efforts on teaching how to: take forage samples from hay and pastures, interpret the forage test report, and match the forage to the nutritional needs of different classes of livestock.
