With over hundred years of experience in underwater weapons, DCNS off ers cutting-edge heavyweight and lightweight torpedo launching systems, providing multi-torpedo capabilities and outstanding safety as well as being compliant with the most demanding environmental situations.
Based on an open architecture, DCNS torpedo launching systems can be installed in various confi gurations ranging from stand-alone to fully-integrated mode.
More than 150 platforms (submarine, surface and air) are equipped with heavyweight and lightweight launching systems for the benefi t of more than 15 navies.

MIGAL fire control systemThe MIGAL fire control system serves as the interface between the torpedo and the submarine’s Combat Information Centre. The MIGAL’s prime function is to control the torpedo firing sequence for both combat and training launchings. The MIGAL presets, checks, launches and wire-guides the F21 and other available torpedoes, one at a time or in salvoes (up to 4 HWT on four targets).
The user friendly Man-Machine Interface is available either in stand-alone mode or through the combat management system. The MIGAL is compatible with any heavyweight torpedoes and can be

installed on board any submarine or surface vessel. A navy can thus deploy different types of torpedoes from the same
platform which in turn helps it to switch smoothly from one torpedo type to another. Today more than 40 MIGAL systems equip six navies.
LIGHTWEIGHT TORPEDO LAUNCHING SYSTEMS
LWT Airborne Torpedo System (ATS)The Airborne Torpedo System controls, presets and releases LWT from aircraft and helicopters. Similar to the Shipborne Torpedo System, it proposes a full range of integration level, from stand-alone to fully-integrated mode.
Solutions offered: ■ PCA 200: an ATS including computer
unit & dedicated control panel, ■ LTS 200: a PCB acting as computer unit,
which can be embedded within the Store Management System installed on board.
LWT Shipborne Torpedo System (STS) The Shipborne Torpedo System consists of a Shipborne Presetter (SPS) connected to a Torpedo Interface Unit (TIU) which is linked to torpedo tubes (mono-, bi- or tri-tubes). Of modular mechanical and electronic architecture, the system is able to launch MU90 and Mk46 (any model) torpedoes and can be configured for other LWT types. It can be set up in different configurations, ranging from stand-alone to fully-integrated mode. DCNS can supply the entire system or adapt existing tubes.
