Mission Update Welcome! To beer serve our newcomers, we ask that guests please fill out a Visitor Card* located in the pews in the sanctuary and at the Connecon Center in Schumann Hall. Cards may be placed in the offering trays or given to an usher or minister. Parking Informaon As a courtesy, we reserve the curbside parking on Coll St by the sanctuary and the drive-thru parking area by the school for the elderly, handicapped, or those who require assistance. There is always an Ambassador there to greet and offer assistance. Also, we discourage parking on the curbside in front of Seele Parish Hall for the safety of the children going in and out. Nursery We offer a staffed nursery for age birth through 3 years old in the FP School area during the 9:00 and 10:30 Sunday morning services. Please see an usher for assistance. hh For Our Guests & Members Sunday School: 6th-12th grade, 9:00 am and Wednesday nights at 6:00 pm! Merge Room. During Thanksgiving and Christmas, let’s fill up our baskets every week for those who need a hand-up and volunteer when able to spread the love of Christ during this holiday season. Jerusalem On that cold December day, Jesus was SENT, wise men were SENT, angels were SENT, shepherds were SENT. All to deliver HOPE to God's people. We Christians are still being SENT with a message of HOPE for this generation. This Advent lets explore this idea of SENT together. The class is led by Sue Saur and will meet in the Faust House daycare room (across from the Women's bathroom) at 9:15. Our first class will be December 9th, and we will continue for the remaining weeks of Advent, with the option of an additional class after the New Year. Join us! The Senior Pastor Search Commiee met on Nov. 14th to review survey responses and other feedback from the members of the congregaon. All told, we received input from roughly one-third of those who regularly aend our services. Among those who work with surveys and opinion polls, that is considered to be a remarkable response. The commiee sees it as an indicaon of the deep investment so many of us have in the spiritual health and future of First Protestant Church. Please be aware that we are extending the deadline for surveys another week, to Sunday, Dec. 2nd. Survey results will be made available as soon as we’ve collected the last group, but at this point we can certainly report that they have been both helpful and hopeful. Please connue to keep the commiee, our church, and each other in your daily prayers. ANNUAL CONGREGATIONAL MEETING Tuesday, December 4, 2018 7:00 pm in the Sanctuary. All church members are welcome and encouraged to attend. Salvation Army Support Red Kettle Bell Ringing There are still a few First Protestant slots available that can be scheduled with Mae Kraft.
