Gwalior, Hisar, Kohima, Ludhiana, Meerut, & Shillong. Drive tests were conducted to assess the network quality provided by cellular mobile telephone service providers for voice and data services. Drive tests were conducted to assess the network quality provided bycellular mobile telephone service providers for voice and data services. 3. The key fmdings of Drive test are summarized below:
(i) Gwalior City: Most of the TSPs have met the 2% of Drop Call Rate exceptBSNL 3G and Tata CDMA. All TSPs have met CSSR. Maximum throughputhas been observed in Airte1 for both 3G & 4G technology.
(ii)Hissar City: All TSPs have met the 2% of Drop Call Rate. Most TSPs havemet CSSR except Tata (2G & 3G). Maximum throughput has been observedin 3G Tata & 4G Airtel.
(iii)Kohima City: Only Airtel 2G & RJio has met 2% of Drop Call Rate. MostTSPs have met CSSR except BSNL (2G & 3G) and Airtel 3G. Maximumthroughput has been observed in 3G BSNL& 4G RJio.
(iv)Ludhiana City: Most of the TSPs have met the 2% of Drop Call Rate exceptBSNL 3G. All TSPs have met CSSR. Maximum throughput has beenobserved in 3G BSNL & 4G RJio.
(v)Meerut City: Most of the TSPs have met the 2% of Drop Call Rate exceptBSNL (3G). Most TSPs have met CSSR except BSNL (2G & 3G). Maximumthroughput has been observed in 3G BSNL& 4G RJio.
(vi)Shillong City: Only Airtel (2G), Idea (2G& 3G) and RJio have met the 2% ofDrop Call Rate. Most TSPs have met CSSR except BSNL (3G). Maximumthroughput has been observed in 3G BSNL& 4G Airtel.

Tests included 2G, 3G, 4G andCOMAradio access technologies.

It covered a route of approximately 200 KMs anddata tests conducted on 10 hotspots. Cellular mobile telephone service providersincluded namely Airtel, BSNL, Idea, Vodafone and Jio. Tests included 2G, 3G, 4G andCDMAradio access technologies.

Block Call <=3%:A call that is not connected because there is no free channel inradio access network to serve a call attempt.
CSSR (Call Setup Success Rate) >=95%: Ratio of Established Calls to CallAttempts.
Drop Call Rate <=2%: An ability to maintain a call once it has been correctlyestablished.
Hand over Success Rate (HOSR)>=95%:Ratio between successful handovers tohandover requested. (Handover is a process by which a mobile telephone call istransferred from one base station to another as the subscriber passes theboundary of a cell).
Rx Quality >95%:Measure of quality of voice.
Download Throughput: Data transmission rate for downloading a test file from atest server to a test device.
Upload Throughput: Data transmission rate for uploading a test file from a testdevice to test server.
Web browsing delay (secs): Average time taken to fully load the website tested.
Video Steaming delay (secs): Average time taken to fully download the videotested.
Latency (msecs): Time taken for a packet to reach the receiving endpoint aftertransmitted from the sending point.
