Machining Techniques: Turning• Lathes are used to make round parts like cylinders,
bolts, knobs etc
The machine is a Centre Lathe
It is used for TURNING (reducing diameter) and FACING (making shorted and neater)
DRILLING on a Lathe

Cutting a THREAD
KNURLING
