Jared Saft is the President of the Orlando Predators, a professional Arena Football team owned by Westgate Resorts CEO David Siegel and is responsible for all facets and operations of the business. Mr. Saft is a member of the Arena Football League Board of

Directors and sits on the Executive Finance and Labor Committees. In addition to his responsibilities for the Orlando Predators, Mr. Saft is an executive at Westgate Resorts and is responsible for overseeing Westgate's Hotel Sales & Marketing, Inventory/Yield Management, eCommerce/Web Marketing, Reservations and Developer Services for 28 resorts and 13,000 rooms across the United States. Mr. Saft has also served as an Adjunct Professor at the Rosen School of Hospitality at the University of Central Florida. Prior to Westgate Resorts, Mr. Saft worked as a Consultant in Providence, Rhode Island where he worked on hospitality & government-related projects and as an Aid in the United States Congress in Washington, D.C. Mr. Saft was also an Instructor at Brown University where he taught courses in Governance & Management in Large Public Corporations & International Finance. Mr. Saft received his Masters from Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island and his Bachelors from Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia.

DARRELL HARBIN

CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER

Darrell Harbin joins the Orlando Predators as the team's Chief Operating Officer. He will be responsible for leading the Predators and their corporate partners into the new Amway Center, as well as the development of new revenue streams associated with the new

Amway Center. Darrell comes to the Orlando Predators from the Orlando Magic where he served five seasons as the teams Sr. Partnership Development Manager. During the his five seasons with the Magic Darrell was instrumental in generating new corporate partnerships while developing community campaigns such as reading and learning centers for the Parramore community in conjunction with key Magic partners. Prior to his tenure with the Magic, Harbin spent 10 years in Arena Football. From 1995 to 2000, he served as Vice President of Sales and Operations for the Nashville Kats of the AFL. From 1998 to 2000, Harbin's sales team in Nashville generated over one million dollars in new sponsorship revenue. After helping the Kats transition from Nashville to Atlanta, becoming the Georgia Force, Harbin accepted a position as general manager of the af2's Augusta Stallions for the 2001 season. Having vastly improved the Stallions sponsorship and ticket sales programs, Harbin then joined the Carolina Cobras. Starting in 2003, Harbin guided the Cobras through their transition from Raleigh to Charlotte. Harbin left the Cobras after the 2005 season for Orlando to join the Magic. Harbin brings a unique mix of Arena Football experience and knowledge of the Orlando sponsorship climate to the Orlando Predators that few possess. He will be instrumental in helping the Orlando Predators leave a branding footprint on the new Amway center as they enter this new venue as their home field. Harbin's knowledge of both the Orlando marketplace and the details of the Amway Center will be counted heavily upon during this critical transition period.

MICHAEL DIJULIO

OPERATIONS

Michael DiJulio was hired by the Orlando Predators in January of 2014. In his two seasons with the franchise, the Predators have posted a 24-14 overall record while securing consecutive South Division titles, including a berth in the American Conference

Championship. In his current role, DiJulio has worked tirelessly to build the Predators roster. During his first year with the team, he was hired with only seven weeks to reshape a roster that was coming off a 7-11 season in 2013. DiJulio worked closely with the coaching staff to identify and recruit new talent to the Predators. He was instrumental in signing several key free agents, including WR Greg Carr, who went on to earn the 2014 Rookie of the Year Award as well as Second Team All-Arena honors. Other notable free agents acquisitions included: QB Jason Boltus, WR Khalil Paden, WR Kendal Thompkins, OC Zack Williams, OG Hayworth Hicks, OG Bryan Collins, DE Earl Okine, and DE Meshak Williams. Orlando also landed QB Bernard Morris, WR Larry Brackins, DB Tracy Belton, DE TJ Fatinikun, and DB Arness Ikner through trades. The 2014 Orlando Predators posted an 11-7 record and won their first South Division title since 2006. In the first round of the playoffs, Orlando knocked off the 15-3 Pittsburgh Power to secure a berth in the American Conference Championship. In total, DiJulio executed 213 total transactions throughout the 2014 season, including 22 trades. Entering the 2015 season, the Predators once again saw success in the free agent market, landing standout rookies in DT Austin Brown, DB Nick Taylor, OG Erle Ladson, and OC William Maxwell, as well as key veterans in QB Randy Hippeard, WR Brandon Thompkins, and LB Terence Moore. The 2015 Orlando Predators improved their regular season record to 12-6 while winning the franchise's second consecutive division title for the first time since 1994.

Prior to arriving in Orlando, DiJulio served as the Director of Player Personnel for the expansion Portland Thunder, where he helped build the franchise's inaugural roster. His first player signed was rookie WR Eric Rogers, who scored 27 touchdowns in only nine games and is now a member of the San Francisco 49ers. DiJulio also helped navigate the team through a nine-round expansion draft that netted four starters for the franchise, including DB Eric Crocker, who delivered 10 interceptions during the team's inaugural season, as well as OG Wayne Tribue, who was eventually traded to Philadelphia where he earned Second Team All-Arena honors. Portland went on to earn a playoff berth in its first season of existence. DiJulio entered the Arena Football League as a player personnel intern with the Utah Blaze in 2012, where he worked under Director of Player Personnel Karl Bates. He was hired into a full-time position as the team's Director of Communications while continuing to assist with player personnel duties for two seasons. During his tenure in Utah, DiJulio worked alongside current Predators Head Coach Rob Keefe and Offensive Coordinator Matthew Sauk. Sauk coached in the same capacity for Utah while Keefe served as the team's defensive coordinator. DiJulio began his career in player personnel as a research intern for Scouting Services Inc., where he served as the top assistant to the company's Director of Operations, Dave-Te' Thomas. In this role, he created full player profiles on NFL Draft prospects while handling scouting duties for the west coast region. Alongside Thomas, DiJulio became only the second person since 1968 to co-author The NFL Draft Report in 2010 and 2011 – an annual database of NFL Draft prospect profiles edited and distributed by the NFL Communications Department. Born in Bellevue, Washington, DiJulio earned a bachelor's degree from Washington State University.

Robert Jensen possesses over 16 years of diverse marketing experience across travel, sports and entertainment is in his second year as the Orlando Predators' senior director of marketing. Jensen was named to the position in June of 2014 to oversee the marketing and

brand engagement for the Orlando Predators. In his first year with the Predators, Jensen and his team have enhanced the game day digital experience in Amway Center to not only keep the fans engaged, but to also encourage the fans to support and electrify the players and coaches. Because he has such drive to push himself in all aspects of what he does, he is determined to take the game day experience to the next level to celebrate the Orlando Predators 25th anniversary season. Jensen joined the Orlando Predators when the team was acquired by David Siegel and Westgate Resorts. He has been with the Westgate organization for 11 years in which he oversees hotel marketing and brand management. Born June 13, 1975, in Chicago, Jensen earned his bachelor's degree from Illinois State University. He still maintains strong ties to Illinois because he still has family there, but he calls the Orlando area his home.

Adrian Robles joined the Orlando Predators as a Game Day Operations Intern prior to the 2010 season. Adrian graduated from the University of Central Florida with a business management degree in 2012. Adrian is currently the Corporate

Operations Manager, overseeing day to day operations and events. His main duty is to ensure the overall success of all Corporate Partnerships and fulfill all contractually obligated elements. He is also the Game Director during all Predators home games ensuring that the show production exceeds the high entertainment standards the Predators have set over the history of the team.

Casey Todt joined the Predators as a Partnership Development Manager before the 2015 season. Prior to joining the Predators, Todt was a sport coordinator with the Amateur Athletic Union's national office for four

years. He also has experience working at the ESPN Wide World of Sports and has held internships with the AAU, Cleveland Browns, Columbus Blue Jackets, Columbus Crew, and the NAIA national office. A West Portsmouth, Ohio native, Todt graduated from Shawnee State University with a sport management degree in 2011. Todt resides in Davenport, FL.

Erik Sandberg joined the Predators as a Partnership Development Manager before the 2015 season. Prior to joining the Predators, Sandberg was an events coordinator with North Park University in Chicago, Illinois for

10 years. He also has experience working the Chicago music scene as a guitarist in the now disbanded alt rock band Eskimo Palace. A Chicago, Illinois native, Sandberg graduated from North Park University with a Fine Arts degree in 2004. Sandberg resides in Windermere, Florida with his wife and daughter.

Scott Einhorn enters his first season with the Orlando Predators. His responsibilities include overseeing the day-to-day operations of ticket sales including season tickets, group ticketes, and premium hospitality for the Orlando Predators.

Einhorn spent the previous four years as Vice President of Ticket Sales of the Orlando Solar Bears. Under his direction, the Solar Bears finished top 3 in attendance for three consecutive years and during their All-Star Season the ECHL All-Star game saw its highest attendance in 15 years. Prior to moving to Orlando, Einhorn was an Account Executive for the New York Islanders and has experience working at the Hudson Valley Renegades, ESPN Radio, and in the Binghamton University Athletic Department. A native of Warwick, NY, Einhorn received his MBA from Binghamton University. He currently resides in Orlando, FL with his wife Brianna.

Nick Erban joined the Orlando Predators before the 2015 season as Ticket Operations Manager and enters the 2016 season as Director of Ticket Sales and Service. Prior to his affiliation with the Predators organization, Erban

worked six years in the NBA with the Orlando Magic in Information Technology, Marketing and Ticket Sales and assisted in the opening of the Amway Center during its Inaugural Season. He also has experience working with Florida State University's ISP Sports Network, ESPN, the 2009 NBA Finals, EA SPORTS, Synergy Sports, the 2012 NBA All-Star Weekend and the London 2012 Summer Olympics. A native of Springfield, Massachusetts, Erban graduated from Florida State University in 2008 with a B.S. degree in Sport Management. Erban resides in Orlando, FL with his wife, Jamia, and their two children, Jacel and Nico. After helping the Kats transition from Nashville to Atlanta, becoming the Georgia Force, Harbin accepted a position as general manager of the af2's Augusta Stallions for the 2001 season. Stephanie joined the Orlando Predators in November 2015. Born and raised in Rochester, NY, Stephanie studied Sport Management at St. John's University in Queens, NY. Stephanie completed internships in Minor League Baseball (Rochester Red

Wings) and across the pond with the British Basketball League team, Leicester Riders. She first received full-time experience with the Staten Island Yankees and escaped the snow in 2011 when she moved to Florida to work at Walt Disney World in the Groups and Conventions Department. Wanting to move back to the sports world, Stephanie accepted a position with the Orlando Solar Bears and was there for two seasons before moving to the Predators. Stephanie is most excited to be with the Predators for this 25th anniversary season and can't wait to show the fans what is in store. Out of the office you can find Stephanie enjoying time with her husband, Matt, daughter, Alison and their dog, Timber.

RISHI RAGBIR

After an early career in Retail Management, Ragbir began his sports career in 2001 with the Gainesville Sports Organizing Committee where he was involved in Sports Tourism for the City. He later accepted an Account Executive position with the Daytona Cubs, minor league

affiliate of the Chicago Cubs, where he learned more about the overall sales and marketing side of the business. In 2006, Ragbir moved back to his hometown of Queens, NY and accepted an Account Executive front office position with the New York Mets minor league affiliate, Brooklyn Cyclones. In 2008, his career directed him back down to sunny Florida as an Account Executive with the NBA Orlando Magic, where he experienced the transition into the new Amway Center and was involved in the promotion and sales of All Star Weekend. He also experienced deep Playoff runs, one of which leading to the NBA Finals. As he currently builds upon his foundation in a sports career, he utilizes all his prior experiences & skills and is now the Assistant Director of Corporate and Premium Sales with the Arena Football Club, Orlando Predators, who are entering their 25th Anniversary Season. This will be Ragbir's first year with the team and is excited to be a part of the excitement. Ragbir was born and raised in Flushing, Queens and earned his BS in Sports Management from St. John's Unviersity. His favorite teams are the NY Mets, Buffalo Bills, NY Giants, Knicks, Magic, NY Rangers, St. John's Redstorm and now the Orlando Predators. Ragbir currently lives in Orlando with is 6 year old golden lab mix.

ROB KEEFE

HEAD COACH

Defined by his energy, excitement and overall passion for the game, Rob Keefe is well known for his hands-on approach to coaching. With four championship titles to his credit, Keefe brings a tradition of winning to the Orlando Predators. In his first two

seasons with the franchise, Keefe has delivered consecutive seasons of double-digit victories. In his second season as Head Coach of the Orlando Predators, Keefe led the team to its second consecutive South Division Championship, marking the first time the franchise had achieved back-to-back division titles since 1993. Orlando secured its 22nd postseason berth by posting 12 wins in the regular season for just the second time in franchise history and the first since 2003. In his first season at the helm, Keefe directed the Predators to its first division title since 2006, coming within one win of a berth in the ArenaBowl. The 2014 Orlando Predators secured the South Division Championship and reached the American Conference Championship after knocking off the 15-3 Pittsburgh Power in the opening round of the postseason. Rob Keefe arrived in Orlando after serving as the Defensive Coordinator of the Utah Blaze for two seasons. He joined Utah midway through the 2012 season and engineered a dramatic turnaround on that side of the ball. After allowing an average of 64 points over the first 10 games of the season, Utah allowed just over 51 points per contest under Keefe. In the opening round of the 2012 playoffs, the change in culture was loudly put on display as the Blaze defense surrendered a mere 34 points in a victory over the top-seeded San Antonio Talons. Keefe began his coaching career in 2009, joining the Spokane Shock as the secondary coach. The Shock boasted the af2's top-ranked scoring defense that season, allowing just 37.6 points per game. Keefe's

secondary surrendered the fifth-lowest number of passing yards per game (231.6) and registered the second-highest interception total in the league (34). The season culminated in an ArenaCup Championship title. Keefe was promoted to Head Coach of the Shock when the organization joined the Arena Football League in 2010. Under Keefe's guidance, Spokane finished with the best record in the AFL (13-3 regular season) while producing the League's fourth-ranked scoring defense (52.7 ppg). Keefe became the youngest coach in AFL history to win a championship, as the Shock defeated the Tampa Bay Storm in ArenaBowl XXIII. After a standout playing career at Mercyhurst College (Erie, PA), Keefe entered Arena Football in 2004 with the Columbus WarDogs of the af2. He joined the Spokane Shock (then af2) for the club's inaugural season in 2006, helping the franchise secure its first ArenaCup Championship. Keefe ended his two-year tenure with the Shock as the team's career leader in tackles (168) and interceptions (19), twice earning all-af2 accolades as a

defensive back. In 2008, Keefe entered the AFL as a member of the Philadelphia Soul. In his only AFL season as a player, Keefe helped the Soul earn a victory over the San Jose SaberCats in ArenaBowl XXII. Keefe's professional experience as a player also included stints with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Toronto Argonauts and Montreal Alouettes of the Canadian Football League.

MATTHEW SAUK

OFFENSIVE COORDINATOR

Known for his cerebral approach, Matthew Sauk has achieved unparalleled on-field production throughout his career and has earned a reputation for his explosive offenses. He is a two-time winner of the Arena Football League's Assistant Coach of the Year Award and

has coached three of the last four AFL MVPs. Sauk was hired as the Offensive Coordinator of the Orlando Predators on October 19, 2015. Sauk forever made his mark in the Arena Football League record books during a three-year stint as the Assistant Head Coach and Offensive Coordinator of the Utah Blaze (2011-13). He received his first Assistant Coach of the Year award in 2011 after his offense set Arena Football League records for passing yards (5,422), passing touchdowns (128) and passing first downs (328). Astonishingly, Sauk proceeded to shatter those marks again the following season, rewriting the AFL record books while garnering his second-consecutive Assistant Coach of the Year Award. In 2012, Sauk's offense unit enjoyed the most productive offensive campaign in AFL history. The group surpassed its previous all-time records with 5,758 passing yards, 142 passing touchdowns, 332 passing first downs, 510 pass completions and 753 pass attempts. Under Sauk's tutelage, Utah Blaze quarterback Tommy Grady earned the AFL's Most Valuable Player and Offensive Player of the Year awards while being named a First Team All-Arena performer.

Prior to his tenure in Utah, Sauk served as the Offensive Coordinator of the Spokane Shock in 2010 under then-Head Coach Rob Keefe. In his first season calling plays for the Shock, the team posted a 13-3 record and won ArenaBowl XXIII. Sauk got his coaching start as the quarterbacks and receivers coach for the Shock in 2008. Sauk arrives in Orlando after serving as the Offensive Coordinator and Director of Player Personnel of the LA KISS in 2015. In 2014, he was named the Head Coach of the Portland Thunder during the team's inaugural season, where he was able to lead an expansion franchise filled with 21 rookies to the playoffs in its first year of existence. Sauk has earned a reputation for successfully developing AFL quarterbacks. At various points in his career, he has mentored three of the past four League MVPs in Nick

Davila, Tommy Grady, and Erik Meyer, all of whom are quarterbacks. Nick Davila worked under Sauk as a rookie in 2008 before going on to win MVP accolades in 2011 with the Arizona Rattlers. Grady received the honor in 2012, his second season under Sauk. Spokane's Erik Meyer earned the award in 2013 after playing under Sauk as a rookie with the Shock in 2010 and again the following season with the Utah Blaze.

A native of Livonia, Michigan, Sauk played collegiately at Utah State University in 1996 and 1997, where he set multiple records and still ranks among the top 10 in school history for career passing yards (5,385), completions (334), attempts (664), and total offense (5,466). As a senior, he earned second-team All-Big West honors while leading the Aggies to the Humanitarian Bowl. Sauk and his wife Michele live in Salt Lake City, Utah with their three children, Aysha, Trinity, and Xavier.

CLAY HARRELL

OFFENSIVE/DEFENSIVE LINE COACH

Clay Harrell was hired by the Orlando Predators on February 23, 2016 and will coach the team's offensive and defensive lines. He spent the previous two seasons serving in the same role for the Portland Thunder, where he developed a unit that surrendered the fifth fewest

sacks (19) in the Arena Football League in 2015. He began his coaching career with Spokane Shock, serving as the team's line coach in 2012.

Prior to becoming a coach in 2012, Harrell started every game at fullback for the Spokane Shock during the 2010 and 2011 seasons. As a runner, he totaled 135 yards with nine touchdowns on 24 carries. Harrell helped Spokane win ArenaBowl XXIII in 2010, where he played under current Predators Head Coach Rob Keefe and Offensive Coordinator Matthew Sauk. Harrell began his Arena Football career in 2006 as a member of the af2's Everett Hawks, where he earned All-af2 second-team honors as a defensive lineman. He entered the Arena Football League the following year with the Nashville Katz and converted to the offensive line. Harrell joined the Los Angeles Avengers in 2008, where he caught seven passes for 79 yards and four touchdowns. Harrell briefly returned to the field to play in seven games for the Cleveland Gladiators in 2013 before joining the Thunder coaching staff in 2014.

DEFENSE DOMINATES AS PREDATORS ROUT TAMPA BAY IN SEASON OPENER Orlando made it a point to upgrade its defense this offseason and the unit didn’t disappoint. The Predators put forth a stifling defensive effort as the team opened the 2016 season with a 76-25 road victory over the rival Tampa Bay Storm. Orlando denied the Storm offense seven times on the night, notching three interceptions and a fumble recovery while forcing three turnovers on downs. In the secondary, newly-acquired DB Varmah Sonie posted two picks and a team-high 7.5 total tackles while DB Paul Stephens returned another interception 13 yards for a score. Four-time All-Arena DL Mike Lewis also made his presence felt, recovering a fumble in the end zone for another defensive touchdown on the opening drive of the third quarter. The offense more than kept pace with the dominant defensive performance, scoring on all nine of its possessions. QB Randy Hippeard threw for 241 yards and six touchdowns before being relieved in the fourth quarter by QB Bernard Morris, who tossed two more scores of his own. WR Greg Carr returned to the form that made him the AFL’s 2014 Rookie of the Year, hauling in Orlando’s first three touchdowns of the game before finishing with seven catches for 113 yards and four scores. WR Brandon Thompkins registered six receptions for 61 yards and two touchdowns while WR LaMark Brown gained 105 yards on a team-high nine catches, including a 15-yard score. Former UCF offensive linemen Jordan McCray even got in on the action, coming up a four-yard touchdown reception late in the fourth quarter. The Arena Football League’s 3,000th game proved to be historic for the Orlando franchise, as the win also marked the Predators’ largest margin of victory in the “War on I-4” rivalry.

The Orlando Predators (2-0) emerged with a 53-50 victory in a back-and-forth battle with the Portland Steel (0-2) in front of 10,732 fans at the Amway Center on Saturday night. The Steel took a late 50-46 lead as fullback Bryson Kelly scored off a one-yard run with 49 seconds remaining in the game. Moments later, wide receiver Brandon Thompkins fielded the kickoff in the end zone and eluded multiple defenders as he weaved through the coverage unit before bursting upfield to the opponent’s five yard-line. Three plays later, quarterback Randy Hippeard punched it over the goal line on a quarterback sneak to give the Predators a 53-50 lead. Portland regained possession with 18 seconds remaining on the clock, but newly-acquired defensive back Kent Richardson promptly halted the drive, picking off a pass attempt by Portland quarterback Danny Southwick to seal the win for Orlando. Orlando managed to score on all eight of its offensive possessions as Hippeard completed 14-of-28 pass attempts for 228 yards and six touchdowns, adding six yards and two scores on the ground. Brandon Thompkins led all receivers with 110 yards and three touchdowns on five receptions. Greg Carr added 59 yards and two touchdowns on five receptions, while LaMark Brown caught four passes for 59 yards and another touchdown.

PREDATORS OUTLAST PORTLAND STEEL, START SEASON 2-0

The Orlando Predators (3-0) renewed their rivalry with the Jacksonville Sharks (1-2) in front of 7,835 fans at Jacksonville Veterans Memorial Arena on Monday night. The back-and-forth battle came down to the game’s final moments as Orlando emerged with a 63-56 victory to remain perfect on the 2016 season. The contest looked to be in jeopardy when Jacksonville recovered an onside kick to regain possession inside Orlando territory with under a minute remaining and the score tied, 56-56. In need of a big play from the defense, nose guard Terrance Taylor answered the call for the Predators as he broke through the interior and stripped Jacksonville QB Tommy Grady, recovering the loose ball to regain possession for Orlando with only 32 seconds remaining. Two plays into the resulting drive, Hippeard dropped back and launched a deep 33-yard pass to WR Greg Carr, who secured an outstanding one-handed touchdown grab with a defender hanging on him. Jacksonville got the ball back with 19 seconds remaining and managed to drive to Orlando’s 10, but DB Varmah Sonie broke up a pass to the end zone as time expired to seal the victory. Randy Hippeard completed 26-of-37 pass attempts for 296 yards and four touchdowns with two interceptions, adding 12 yards and two more scores on the ground. Brandon Thompkins paced the receiving corps with nine receptions for 83 yards and one touchdown and also returned a missed field goal 54 yards for a score. Making his first appearance of the season, Larry Brackins caught two passes for 37 yards and two touchdowns while adding a 12-yard kick return for a score. Greg Carr added eight receptions for 108 yards and another score.

The Orlando Predators (4-0) opened the season with their fourth straight victory on Saturday night, knocking off the LA KISS (2-2) by final score of 43-40 in front of crowd of 10,127 at the Amway Center. Quarterback Randy Hippeard spread the ball around as he hooked up with four different receivers for scores. The fourth-year signal caller finished the night completing 22-of-32 pass attempts for 273 yards with five touchdowns and one interception. Brandon Thompkins paced the receiving corps with seven receptions for 92 yards and two touchdowns. The Predators defense registered four stops in the game and the effort was led by defensive back Varmah Sonie, who posted two interceptions to go along with 4.5 total tackles. Linebacker Terence Moore added five total tackles with one stop for loss and another interception. Defensive linemen Willie McGinnis, Darryl Cato-Bishop, and Mike Lewis also combined for three sacks on the night. The teams traded scores to open the game as LaMark Brown scored from two yards out on a screen from Hippeard following a one-yard touchdown run by LA’s Rory Nixon. Sonie made a leaping interception on the next KISS possession and the Predators promptly capitalized on the turnover, scoring off a leaping 11-yard touchdown reception by Greg Carr to build a 13-7 lead. The KISS found the end zone on an eight-yard reception by DJ Stephens, but Orlando quickly regained a 19-14 lead off a 22-yard catch-and-run by Brandon Thompkins. Stephens scored on a 33-yard reception for the KISS a series later, but Mark Lewis kept the Predators ahead off a 21-yard field goal for a 22-21 halftime lead. On the following KISS possession, Stanley fumbled the snap and defensive end Mike Lewis recovered the loose ball for Orlando. Thompkins converted the turnover into points, taking a short reception 44 yards to the end zone for the score. The ensuing kickoff by Mark Lewis ricocheted off the nets and bounced back into the field of play, where it was recovered by Brackins in the end zone for the score. LA struck back with three unanswered scores of their own in the fourth quarter, as Stanley hit DJ Stephens for a 15-yard touchdown before hooking up with Donovan Morgan for two more scores. However, Orlando would successfully recover LA’s onside kick attempt and proceeded to run out the clock to seal the victory.

In a much-hyped matchup between the Arena Football League’s last remaining undefeated teams, it was the Orlando Predators who emerged with a 77-59 victory over the Arizona Rattlers (5-1) in front of an Amway Center crowd of 10,512. Orlando matched its third-best start in franchise history, advancing to 6-0 for the first time since 2003. Quarterback Randy Hippeard completed 22-of-30 attempts for 340 yards and tied a career-high with nine touchdown passes. Wide receiver Larry Brackins scored three times on three touches, hauling in two touchdowns passes while adding a one-yard rushing touchdown. Greg Carr paced the receiving corps with 133 yards and three touchdowns on five receptions, while Brandon Thompkins added 97 yards and three more scores on eight catches. Linebacker Terence Moore and former UCF offensive lineman Jordan McCray also got in on the action, as Moore rushed for a one-yard score and McCray hauled in a nine-yard touchdown pass. PREDATORS ADVANCE TO 7-0 WITH VICTORY OVER TAMPA BAY

The Orlando Predators are off to the franchise’s best start in 16 years. With a 42-40 victory over the Tampa Bay Storm (0-6) in front of a season-high crowd of 12,971 at Amway Center, the Predators advanced to 7-0 for the first time since 2000, tying the second-best start in team history. Randy Hippeard completed 16-of-26 pass attempts for 220 yards and five touchdowns with one interception. Greg Carr and Kendal Thompkins each hauled in two touchdown passes while Brandon added another scoring reception as well as a 57-yard kickoff returned for a touchdown. Kent Richardson paced the defense, logging 8.5 total tackles with one tackle for loss, one interception, and two pass breakups. Varmah Sonie posted four total tackles while adding three pass breakups. The Predators trailed 14-7 in the first quarter after Storm quarterback Jason Boltus connected with T.T. Toliver and Phillip Barnett on touchdown throws. Hippeard hit Greg Carr from eight yards out on the Predators first drive, then found Brandon Thompkins for a 21-yard score to tie the game on the opening drive of the second quarter. The Storm regained the lead off a one-yard touchdown run by linebacker Jimmy Gordon, but Orlando tied it moments later as Brandon Thompkins took the ensuing kickoff the length of the field for a 57-yard score. Boltus would find the end zone on a one-yard run with 38 seconds remaining to give Tampa Bay a 27-21 advantage at halftime. Three plays in the third quarter, Kendal Thompkins took a short pass and turned it into a 39-yard score, side-stepping multiple defenders on his way to the end zone to put the Predators on top, 28-27. The Predators defense forced a quick four-play turnover on downs a series later and Hippeard turned to Thompkins once again, connecting on a six-yard score for a 35-27 advantage. Boltus hit Toliver on a 16-yard touchdown late in the third quarter, but Predators linebacker Willie McGinnis blocked the PAT for a 35-33 lead heading into the final quarter. COMEBACK FALLS SHORT IN PHILADELPHIA

AS PREDATORS SUFFER FIRST LOSS

The Orlando Predators (7-1) suffered their first of the season on Saturday evening, falling on the road 62-54 to the Philadelphia Soul (7-1). Orlando battled back from a 28-point deficit in the fourth quarter, but was unable to complete the comeback attempt. QB Randy Hippeard threw for 276 yards and eight touchdowns with one interception on the night, hooking up with WR Brandon Thompkins for five scores as the wideout hauled in a game-high 13 passes for 144 yards. WR Greg Carr caught six passes for 87 yards and a score, while WR Larry Brackins and OL Chad Anderson each added short touchdown grabs. The first quarter ended in a 7-7 tie as FB Jeramie Richardson scored on a one-yard run for the Soul before Hippeard responded with a 16-yard touchdown pass to Carr. Philadelphia went ahead early in the second quarter off a scoring reception by WR Darius Reynolds, but a missed PAT by the Soul allowed the Predators to take a 14-13 lead on a nine-yard touchdown grab by Thompkins. Reynolds caught another score from seven yards out for the Soul, but Orlando would need only one play to regain the lead. After recovering Philadelphia’s onside kick attempt, the Predators quickly converted the great field position into points as Thompkins caught a short pass and took it 10 yards to the end zone for a 21-20 advantage. WR Ryan McDaniel caught a five-yard touchdown pass for Philadelphia and the Predators responded with an eight-yard scoring toss from Hippeard to Brackins. However, a missed PAT by Orlando left the game tied 27-27 with under a minute remaining in the half. Richardson would score on a one-yard run for Soul as time expired in the half, leaving the Predators trailing 34-27 at the midway point. Philadelphia built a 55-27 lead off of three unanswered scores in the third quarter. Orlando received the kick to start the second half, but Hippeard was intercepted by DB Dwayne Hollis on the first play of the drive and Richardson scored again on a short run for the Soul. Philadelphia then scored off a five-yard reception by Reynolds after the Predators turned the ball over on downs. Moments later, the ensuing kickoff bounced off the uprights and the Soul managed to recover the loose ball in the end zone for another score. Orlando ended the scoring drought and rattled off three unanswered scores of its own to start the final quarter, beginning with an 11-yard touchdown toss from Hippeard to Thompkins. DE Darryl Cato-Bishop recovered a fumble for the Predators after sacking Soul QB Dan Raudabaugh on the ensuing series and Orlando converted the turnover into points off a two-yard scoring toss from Hippeard to OL Chad Anderson. Moments later, DB Kent Richardson recovered an onside kick for Orlando and Thompkins hauled in a 34-yard touchdown to cut the deficit, 54-47. Philadelphia managed to put Orlando back in a two-score hole following a three-yard touchdown run by Reynolds, but the Predators battled back with a 15-yard scoring catch by Thompkins. However, the Soul managed to recover Orlando’s onside attempt on the ensuing kickoff and ran out the clock to seal the loss, 62-54.

PREDATORS FALL TO JACKSONVILLE, 59-56

The Orlando Predators (7-2) dropped a 59-56 decision to the rival Jacksonville Sharks (4-4) on Friday night in front of an Amway Center crowd of 10,651. Randy Hippeard completed 26-of-37 pass attempts for 274 yards with seven touchdowns and two interceptions, connecting with Larry Brackins four times for 29 yards and three scores. Brandon Thompkins paced the receiving corps with 11 receptions for 131 yards and two touchdown while Greg Carr added 71 yards and two more scores on seven catches. Hippeard connected with Brackins on a three-yard touchdown throw to give the Predators a 7-6 lead at the end of the opening quarter. The Sharks got on the board first as Tommy Grady found Joe Hills on a two-yard score, but a missed PAT gave Orlando the early edge. Jacksonville scored two plays into the second quarter off a 31-yard catch by Hills, but another missed PAT allowed Orlando to take a 14-12 lead on the ensuing series as Hippeard launched a 24-yard score over the top of the defense to Greg Carr. The Sharks followed with another Grady-to-Hills score, this time from a yard out, but Hippeard would fire a nine-yard touchdown strike to Brandon Thompkins to give the Predators a 21-19 lead at the one minute warning. Hills would catch a six-yard touchdown pass with 25 seconds remaining in the half to give the Sharks a 26-21 advantage at the midway point. Coming out of the half, Hills scored again on an eight-yard reception, but Brandon Thompkins answered with a 54-yard touchdown return on the ensuing kickoff to cut Jacksonville’s lead, 33-28. The Sharks built a 47-28 lead early in the fourth quarter, beginning with an 11-yard scoring reception by Hills. On the following Predators drive, Hippeard’s pass attempt bounced off the wall and into the arms of Sharks DB Greg Reid and Jacksonville would convert the interception into a one-yard touchdown run by FB Derrick Ross. The Predators got back on the board midway through the final frame as Hippeard hit Larry Brackins on a four-yard touchdown. Orlando’s defense answered the call on the ensuing series, denying Grady’s fourth-down pass attempt to force a turnover on downs. Hippeard found Brackins again for a nine-yard scoring completion on the resulting drive to cut the deficit, 47-42. Jacksonville got a quick 13-yard score from Hills on the next play from scrimmage, but Brandon Thompkins responded with a 17-yard touchdown reception with 28 seconds remaining on the clock to give the Predators life as they trailed 53-48. Orlando attempted the onside kick, but the Sharks recovered and scored again off a quick pass to Hills. Greg Carr hauled in a 13-yard score during the final drive, but the effort was too late as time expired.

PREDATORS DEFEAT LA KISS ON GAME’S FINAL PLAY

The Orlando Predators (8-2) snapped a two-game skid and emerged with a 43-41 road win over the LA KISS on Sunday night in front of a crowd of 6,287 at the Honda Center. In a back and forth battle that came down to the game’s final snap, the Predators earned the victory in the most improbable of ways. The KISS went ahead 41-35 off a 21-yard touchdown reception by WR Brandon Collins with 3:10 remaining in the game and a missed PAT gave Orlando a chance to win it on their final drive. With 10 seconds left on the clock, Bernard Morris kept it on a designed run and raced three yards around the right end for the score, but another miss on the extra point attempt left the game tied, 41-41. LA returned the ensuing kickoff to their own 14 and lined up for a game-winning field goal attempt with three seconds remaining on the clock, but an errant snap went past the holder and hit the back wall of the end zone, resulting in a game-winning safety for the Predators. Morris started at quarterback for the Predators in place of an injured Randy Hippeard and scored four total touchdowns as he completed 16-of-26 attempts for 171 yards and two touchdowns while adding 45 yards and two scores on 10 rushing attempts. Brandon Thompkins put forth an electric performance in multiple phases of the game as he racked up 217 all-purpose yards and three total touchdowns. Offensively, he hauled in a game-high eight receptions for 82 yards and a touchdown. On special teams, Thompkins returned two kickoff for scores, each of which came from distances over 50 yards. Varmah Sonie notched his sixth interception of the season for the defense while adding five total tackles. The Predators trailed 14-0 early in the second quarter as WR Donovan Morgan caught two touchdowns passes from KISS QB Pete Thomas to start the game. From there, Orlando would shake off the slow start and tie the game with two unanswered scores of their own. Morris first found Greg Carr wide open up the right sideline for a 13-yard score. Two plays into the ensuing KISS possession, Sonie halted the drive as he picked off the pass attempt by Thomas and the Predators converted the turnover into points to even the score as Morris ran it into the end zone from three yards out. With 20 seconds remaining in the second quarter, Morgan caught a seven-yard score to give LA the lead at halftime, 21-14. The Predators tied the game on the opening drive of the third quarter, capping off a lengthy 12-play, 47-yard drive with a four-yard touchdown strike from Morris to Brandon Thompkins. LA briefly regained the lead off a four-yard reception by Morgan, but Thompkins would take the ensuing kickoff the length of the field for a 56-yard touchdown return to tie it heading into the fourth quarter, 28-28. Thomas connected with FB Rory Nixon on a 16-yard screen for a touchdown on the opening drive of the final frame, but Thompkins once again answered loudly with a dynamic play on special teams. Thompkins fielded the resulting kickoff in the end zone and burst up field, weaving through would-be tacklers before breaking free for a 55-yard touchdown return to tie the game at 35-35 midway through the fourth.

With only seconds remaining on the clock, kicker Mark Lewis successfully booted a 23-yard field goal to push the Orlando Predators (9-2) past the Cleveland Gladiators (5-6) in a 59-56 victory. Randy Hippeard returned to action after missing last week’s game due to injury and scored six total touchdowns. The fourth-year signal caller completed 23-of-34 attempts for 316 yards and four touchdowns while adding 22 yards and two scores on seven carries. Brandon Thompkins hauled in eight receptions for a game-high 127 yards and two touchdowns, while Greg Carr caught nine passes for 95 yards and two more scores. Fullback John Martinez also found the end zone, rushing for 11 yards and two touchdowns. Varmah Sonie paced the defense with 4.0 total tackles while adding a forced fumble that was recovered by linebacker Terence Moore. Kent Richardson recorded his third interception of the season to go along with 3.0 tackles and a pass breakup. Defensive end Darryl Cato-Bishop logged 3.0 total tackles, including a half-sack and 1.5 tackles for loss. Cato-Bishop now leads the AFL with 10 tackles for loss on the season. The Predators jumped out to an early 21-7 lead in the first quarter, beginning with a one-yard touchdown run by Hippeard on the game’s opening series. One snap into Cleveland’s first possession, Sonie jarred the ball free after laying a big hit on WR Larry Beavers and Moore recovered the fumble for Orlando. Hippeard promptly converted the turnover into points, firing a 26-yard touchdown pass to Brandon Thompkins on the next play from scrimmage. Cleveland QB Arvell Nelson connected with Beavers on a 37-yard touchdown pass a series later, but Orlando would need just one play to respond as Hippeard completed a short throw again to Thompkins, who shed a tackle and broke free for a 32-yard score. Following a 14-yard touchdown pass from Nelson to WR Devin Wilson for Cleveland, the Predators pushed the lead back to two scores midway through the second quarter as Hippeard eluded the pass rush and scrambled to the end zone for an 11-yard touchdown and a 28-14 advantage. The Gladiators scored late in the quarter off a six-yard reception by WR Quentin Sims, but Orlando would take a 35-21 lead into the locker room at the half after Hippeard hooked up with Carr on a two-yard touchdown pass as time expired. Cleveland managed to tie the game with two unanswered scores to start the third quarter. WR Collin Taylor caught a 33-yard score on the opening series of second half and the Gladiators recovered a fumble on the following Predators drive. Sims caught a four-yard pass from Nelson to even the score, but Orlando would regain the lead off a one-yard touchdown run by Martinez as time expired in the third. The teams traded scores throughout much of the fourth quarter, resulting in a 56-56 tie in the game’s final seconds. Sims caught a 37-yard score for Cleveland on the first play of the fourth and the Predators answered as Carr came up with a five-yard touchdown reception. The Gladiators would once again tie it off a 30-yard reception by Sims. Orlando regained the lead with 45 seconds left to play off another one-yard scoring run by Martinez, but the Gladiators would recover the Predators’ onside kick attempt and convert the good field position into another game-tying score as Beavers caught a four-yard touchdown pass. With 23 seconds remaining on the clock, the Predators set out on their final drive. Hippeard completed an 11-yard pass to Kendal Thompkins before hitting Carr for a 21-yard gain to the opponent’s eight yard-line to set Lewis’ game-winning kick.

An emotional week ended in triumph for the Orlando Predators (10-2) as the team earned a 44-34 road win over the rival Jacksonville Sharks (5-6) on Saturday. On a night in which the team removed the individual names from their uniforms and sported #ORLANDOUNITED on the back of all jerseys as a tribute to the victims of the Pulse tragedy, it was Orlando native and Jones High School graduate Bernard Morris who was called to action to lead the Predators to victory. Leading 30-27 late in the fourth quarter, Morris subbed into the game for starting QB Randy Hippeard, who went down with injury after being sacked the previous play. Facing 3rd-&-Goal and needing a score to maintain a comfortable lead, Morris took his first snap and tossed a 13-yard touchdown pass to WR Greg Carr to put Orlando up, 37-27. The Sharks would regain possession and quickly made it a three-point game as QB Tommy Grady hit WR Joe Hills from nine yards out for a touchdown. With 47 seconds remaining on the clock, Morris returned to the field determined on putting the game away for good. Facing 3rd-&-Goal once again, the veteran signal caller dropped back and fired a nine-yard strike to Carr in the end zone for the final touchdown. The two touchdowns were Morris’ only pass attempts of the night. Prior to suffering the fourth quarter injury, Hippeard completed 18-of-30 attempts for 180 yards and four touchdowns with one interception. All four of Carr’s receptions went for scores while Brandon Thompkins paced the receiving corps with 11 receptions for 93 yards and two touchdowns. On the defensive side of the ball, ends Darryl Cato-Bishop and Logan Harrell each forced fumbles that resulted in turnovers for the Predators. LB Terence Moore posted a team-high 11 total tackles and DB Paul Stephens also notched an 11-yard interception. Orlando now holds the top overall seed in the Arena Football League and is the first team in the AFL to reach 10 victories in 2016.

Making his second start of the season, Morris completed 16-of-23 pass attempts for 131 yards and five touchdowns while adding 31 yards and three more scores on the ground. He hooked up Greg Carr five times for 43 yards and three touchdowns and Brandon Thompkins paced the receivers with seven catches for 54 yards and two scores. The Predators defense forced four total stops in the game, logging three interceptions and a turnover on downs. In the secondary, Paul Stephens, Emanuel Cook and Terence Moore all registered picks while nose guard Willie McGinnis added a seven-yard sack. Orlando jumped out to a 14-0 first quarter lead beginning with a nine-yard touchdown run by Morris on the game’s opening drive. Emanuel Cook intercepted Storm QB Jason Boltus on the ensuing drive and the Predators converted the turnover into points as Morris fired a 10-yard scoring strike to Thompkins. The win marks Orlando’s 12th of the season, tying a record that has only been achieved twice in franchise history (2003, 2015). Thompkins hauled in 12 receptions for 123 yards and four touchdowns in the game, including all three Predators scores in the third and fourth quarter. QB Bernard Morris completed 21-of-34 passes for 257 yards with six touchdowns and one interception. WR Greg Carr added seven catches for 101 yards and two scores. Thompkins came up with a 12-yard touchdown grab on the game’s opening drive and Orlando quickly built a 13-0 lead. Following a diving interception at the goal line by Paul Stephens, Carr hauled in a 32-yard score from Morris to put the Predators up two scores at the end of the first quarter. Portland got on the board early in the second quarter after finding the end zone on a seven-yard carry by FB Kevin Myers, but Orlando would mount a 27-6 advantage with two unanswered scores. FB John Martinez capped the next drive with a two-yard touchdown run for Orlando and the Predators would regain possession after denying the Steel on fourth down a series later. Carr converted the turnover into points, securing a leaping 37-yard reception in traffic for the score. WR Rashaad Carter caught a six-yard touchdown for the Steel before the half was out, giving Orlando a 27-13 lead at the midway point. Portland managed to tie the game 27-27 beginning with a 57-yard touchdown return by DB Shaine Boyle on the opening kickoff of the third quarter. On the ensuing drive, Morris had his pass intercepted off the nets by Steel LB Bryce Peila and Portland scored off a 13-yard reception by WR Nick Truesdell on the resulting drive. Orlando broke up the tie as Thompkins snared a 13-yard touchdown pass from Morris, but a missed PAT allowed Portland to take a 34-33 lead early in the fourth quarter off a three-yard run by Carter. The Predators would regain the lead as Brandon Thompkins hauled in two fourth quarter touchdowns. Morris fired a five-yard strike to Thompkins in the end zone on the next series to put the Predators back on top, 40-34. After the defense forced another turnover on downs, Thompkins hauled in a 27-yard touchdown on the next play to add to the lead, 47-34. Truesdell scored on a three-yard reception for Portland a series later, but Orlando would run out the clock on the game’s final drive to seal the victory.

PREDATORS FALL TO ARIZONA RATTLERS, 62-45

The Orlando Predators (12-3) dropped a 62-45 decision to the Arizona Rattlers (12-3) on the road Monday night. Despite the loss, the Predators split the season series with the Rattlers and now own the tiebreaker over Arizona due to point differential in head-to-head games. The Predators can clinch the top seed and home field advantage throughout the postseason with a victory over the Philadelphia Soul on July 30. QB Bernard Morris scored six total touchdowns as he completed 25-of-40 passes for 285 yards and four touchdowns while adding 57 yards and two more scores on the ground. Brandon Thompkins hauled in a game-high 12 receptions for 141 yards and two touchdowns, while Larry Brackins and LaMark Brown each added scoring receptions of their own. Morris threw two first quarter touchdown passes to give the Predators an early 14-13 lead. Arizona WR Rod Windsor caught a six-yard score on the opening drive, but a missed PAT allowed Orlando to take a 7-6 lead on an 11-yard touchdown reception by Brackins. WR Chase Deadder caught a three-yard score for the Rattlers a series later and Orlando would respond as Thompkins snared a nine-yard touchdown pass to give the Predators the lead as time expired in the quarter. Orlando’s only drive in the second quarter resulted in an interception and the Rattlers managed to build a 27-14 advantage at halftime after Windsor caught a five-yard touchdown and scored on a one-yard run. The Predators responded on the opening drive of the third as WR LaMark Brown spun out of a tackle on his way to an 11-yard touchdown. Windsor caught an 11-yard score on the ensuing series for the Rattlers, but Bernard Morris answered in dramatic fashion as he scrambled out of the pocket and raced 36 yards to the end zone to cut the deficit, 34-28. Arizona would score on a nine-yard reception by FB Mykel Benson before Brandon Thompkins scored on a short pass with an electric 40-yard run after the catch to make it a one-score game in the fourth quarter, 41-35. Two unanswered scores in the final frame by the Rattlers put the Predators in a 55-35 hole. Davila found WR Maurice Purify on a 30-yard touchdown throw and Arizona would recover a fumble on the ensuing kickoff before scoring on a two-yard run by Benson. Morris responded with an eight-yard touchdown run but Arizona would push the lead to 62-42 with a 19-yard scoring reception by WR Anthony Amos. Needing to keep the loss under 18 points in order to maintain the tiebreaker, the Predators set up a field goal with five seconds on the clock and Mark Lewis successfully booted the kick to clinch the tiebreaker.

PREDATORS FALL TO PHILADELPHIA IN REGULAR SEASON FINALE

The Orlando Predators (12-4) fell to the Philadelphia Soul (13-3) in the finale of the 2016 regular season. Orlando finishes the season as the No. 2 seed in the American Conference and will host the Jacksonville Sharks in the opening round of the postseason on Saturday, August 6. Bernard Morris threw for 333 yards and six touchdowns with one interception on the night, adding 17 yards and another score on the ground. Larry Brackins hauled in a game-high 11 passes for 114 yards and four touchdowns, while Brandon Thompkins snared six receptions for 139 yards and another score. LaMark Brown also caught a 28-yard touchdown pass as he totaled five receptions for 67 yards. The Predators battled to a 14-14 tie midway through the second quarter as the two teams traded scores. Morris eluded a defender on his way to a six-yard touchdown run before tossing a seven-yard score to Brackins. Dan Raudabaugh threw two touchdown passes for the Soul, connecting with Chris Duvalt from 32 yards out and Lonnie Outlaw on an eight-yard throw. Orlando would take its first lead of the night midway through the second quarter. Defensive end Monte Lewis blocked Philadelphia’s PAT attempt following a 17-yard scoring reception by Shaun Kauleinamoku and the Predators went ahead 21-20 as Brackins hauled in a two-yard touchdown pass a series later. Duvalt caught a 32-yard score to regain the lead for Philadelphia but the PAT resulted in another miss. The Soul attempted an onside kick on the ensuing kickoff and after bouncing off of multiple players, Calvin Fance recovered the loose ball in the end zone to give the Predators a 28-26 lead. Fance wasn’t done making his presence felt on special teams, however. Moments later, the veteran defensive end recovered the Predators’ onside kick attempt to regain possession and set up a 25-yard field goal by Mark Lewis to increase the lead, 31-26. The Soul would take a 33-31 lead at halftime following a 14-yard touchdown reception by Darius Reynolds with seven seconds remaining on the clock. Morris was intercepted on the opening drive of the third frame and the Soul went ahead 40-31 on the resulting series off a 27-yard touchdown catch by Duvalt. Morris shook off the pick and tossed an 18-yard touchdown to Brackins before Raudabaugh responded with a 27-yard scoring completion to Kauleinamoku to give the Soul a 47-38 lead at the end of the third. Morris cut the deficit early in the fourth quarter, hooking up with Brackins for a fourth time on a 12-yard touchdown. Philadelphia answered with a 35-yard scoring reception by Duvalt, but Terrance Taylor blocked the PAT attempt for Orlando. On the next play from scrimmage, Morris launched a deep 40-yard score to Brandon Thompkins and the Predators tied it 53-53 after recording a safety on the two-point conversion. Kauleinamoku caught a 31-yard touchdown a drive later and the Predators matched the score as LaMark Brown broke through a would-be tackler on his way to a 28-yard score. However, a miss on the PAT left the Predators trailing 60-59 at the one-minute warning. Philadelphia would score a final time off a 14-yard reception by Reynolds as the Predators fell, 67-59.
