CREATE IDEAS Ideation Day One designer to attend a scheduled Ideation Day event to support the capture of new ideas and to visualise concepts.The facilitation, venue hire and catering is to be quoted separately.

Hand Drawn Conceptual Sketches

Explorative visual hand drawn sketches which are then refined as new concepts, submitted in a presentation format for client selection purposes.

Digital Concept Presentation Sketches in full colour

Digital Concept sketches emulate real products, they are useful for illustrating concept features like surface textures, contour lines, label positioning, grip applications and overall aesthetics. They look realistic and can be used to present ideas to retailers, marketing or consumers, to gain feedback before you advance to 3D CAD models.

Card & corrugated fibre based Conceptual Packaging Mock-ups

Our creative team can create concept sketches and test mock-ups to develop new and innovative packaging designs . Using Illustrator, SolidWorks and Esko software, we can create mock-up card or corrugate packaging proofs.

This could be anything from a simple Regular Slotted Carton (RSC) up to a complicated origami box or POS display unit.

3D Computer Aided Design (CAD) for prototyping or visualising

For 3D Computer Aided Design (CAD) modelling we use SolidWorks, 3D Max and Esko software. 3D CAD files are built to verify tings like target volume, critical dimensions, function mechanisms, wall thicknesses and overall aesthetics. Once created, these files can also be used to generate 3D Printing, Photo realistic renderings, 3D Virtual store, eye tracking or cave products - defined later in this document.


3D Object Scanning 3D scanning enables us to digitally capture an object for use in (or as) a 3D CAD model. scanned objects could include organic, complex features or surface finishes that are difficult to measure or re-create geometrically. Scanned textures may add a unique point of difference to or may lift a design from looking “everyday” into a premium proposition.


3D Photo Realistic Rendering Rendering images produced from a 3D CAD file, can produce photorealistic images that simulate market ready products. These images are compelling and can be used for customer research, client presentations, marketing validation or to demonstrate the whole concept, with, product, graphic labels, plastic transparencies and true to life highlights and accents. These images can be also used in concept comparison tests using our state-of-the-art eye tracking technology outlined later in this document.

PROTYPING SOLUTIONS

3D Structural Packaging Development

Our Structural Packaging Technologist generates test mock-ups to develop robust and innovative packaging designs solutions. The conceptual mock-ups can be quickly and easily cut and creased on our in-house Kongsberg Table using card or corrugate.

3D Computer Aided Packaging Design

Various packaging components can be 3D modelled and validated in our various CAD packages. These CAD files can be 3D printed to create moulds for Vacuum Formed Packaging Trays, Blister Packs or Primary Packaging. The Card or Corrugate Packaging development can be also validated in 3D. At this stage, dielines can be provided to Graphic Designers .

Packaging Applied Graphics Graphics can be printed on our large scale, high resolution Epson printers and applied to the desired medium. Our Kongsberg Table can cut and crease the card and Labels, Primary, Secondary and Tertiary Packaging designs can be mocked up in low quantities for fast proving of principle.

3D Prototyping Our multiple 3D printers offer various validation methods in form studies, aesthetics, label positioning, conceptual development and more.
