Usage:
Six hour increments may be accessed by registering on our website, logging in and booking your preferred time, availability permitting, on our calendar. If more than six hours are required for your production and cooking you may secure a second increment at a reduced rate.
A Key FOB will be issued with security code for access to your allowed me. First me users will be given full training on the kitchen use and equipment.
Locked cages are available to hire for storage of your dry goods and personal equipment for repeat kitchen use. There are no utensils, oven trays, stainless steel bowls and containers available on site.
Availability: Cork Incubator Kitchens (CIK), an initiative of the Cork County Council, exists to assist emerging and existing food ventures to start, grow and expand their business. The facility offers modern kitchen equipment and kitchen spaces which are approved for Food Production for rent to registered FBO’s, eliminating the high cost of setting up a kitchen. Terenure Enterprise Centre is intended for new businesses and the units are let on a monthly license arrangement, intended to be flexible with only 1 months notice on either side, the centre provides 'incubation' facilities for approx 4 years.
Kitchen Space: 2 Kitchens
The space in each kitchen is approx. 500 sq ft and comes only as a shell with sink and hand basin provided - kitchen equipment is sourced and installed at your own cost.
Cost: €660 per month with the first 2 months rent free.
One car space is allocated to the kitchen and is charged at €65 per month, with the first two months free.
Each unit has 3 phase power and is metered for electricity the meter reading is charged each month as per your usage.
Gas connection is available but would be direct relationship with Bord Gais or similar.
Each unit has a water meter and your water is charged monthly as per DCC rates.

All projects applying for space complete a short application form and are interviewed by appointment. A deposit of one months net rent is required when signing the license and receiving keys, deposits are refundable after 6 months provided the tenants account is up to date and the unit is left in good repair. All resident business can avail of free support & mentoring and regular in-house networking events, as well as free use of our conference room and reception services (post, fax couriers etc charged as used).

Kitchen Space: Hour Kitchen is a facility whereby you can rent commercial kitchen space by the hour – minimum period 3 hours. All utilities are included in the price. There are 4 brand new kitchens, fitted out to a very high standard. Each kitchen comprises a Rational Combi Oven, 4 burner range, large commercial fridge, large commercial freezer, double sinks for prep and wash up. Separate knee operated hand wash sink, stainless steel prep tables and grease trap. There is a 20lt planetary mixer in one kitchen. In addition there is a changing room with lockers, COSSH room and decant area shared by the 4 kitchens

Kitchen Space: We have two premium food production units which were newly developed to the highest specification during 2013 and are both currently occupied. Each unit is 640 sq ft (59.45 sq m). The units are self-contained and metered and meet all the HSE, EHO and HAACP regulations for food production and fire certification. Each commercial kitchen unit has its own separate entrance with easy access for collections and deliveries. We have ample free car parking and 24/7 access, gated and monitored by CCTV. Commercial kitchen units are fitted out with:

Kitchen equipment is sourced and installed at your own cost and removed at the end of tenancy.

Our Demonstration kitchen provides a unique environment for chef training as well as teaching gourmet/master classes, culinary business lunches or other special culinary events such as television production.

Cost: Costs of renting the Bakery, Sweets or Testing kitchens:
€120 for an initial 4 hour minimum rental and €30 an hour for
each hour after the 4 hours
Availability: Each kitchen is booked separately. We handle bookings by accepting reservations for the current and next calendar months.
Priority is given to standing reservations allowing our clients to establish a regular schedule.
New and additional reservations are handled on a first-come, first-served basis.
