Cifralluminio SRL was born in 1990 and has

developed to provide a concrete support to

advertising professionals.Created by specialists in

the signage industry, in 26 years Cifralluminio SRL

has done a lot of important work in the visual

communication industry.

Folio®, Cifralluminio’s latest brand, makes

exclusive and unique LED luminous panels. The

result of the combination of top-quality materials

and a particular and innovative work process, Folio

® is able to provide in a few millimeters of

thickness a never-before-seen homogeneous

lighting.

Folio®, an innovative technology that allows to obtain a great

performance in terms of very light power, smooth and homogeneous

brightness in a few millimeters of thickness.

• Perfect Homogeneity

As a result of a union between high quality materials and a particular

processing, Folio® can supply a uniform illumination ever seen. In all

dimensions available the light homogeneity is granted allowing a 4%

tolerance only, differente imperceptible to the human eye. A great

performance with a particular interest in the environmental protection

and energy saving.

• Slim, light and resistant

In a few millimeters thickness the Folio® achieves incredibile results.

The panel is externally protected by an aluminum shell that gives

strength and easy handling in all possible dimensions.

. WHAT’S FOLIO LASER INCISION

The Folio® laser incision is based on a particular

mathematical algorithm we developed over years of

experiments and creations. This has allowed us to work

creating micro prisms which differ according to the

characteristics of the panel, such as dimension, LED

quantities, color temperature and shapes.This is how

we can guarantee a really uniform light distribution.

OTHER BRANDS

Standard Laser IncisionProgrammed Laser Incision

The incision or serigraphy of a grid with constant dots, identical

and disposed symmetrically, will never be able to guarantee light

uniformity because the incision itself will never be different and will

not take into account the different characteristics of the panels.

To have an even distribution the incision should be progressive, and

change along the length of the panel as it moves away from the light

source. This cannot be done neither with a grid incision nor with a

symmetrical dots incision.

Even using laser incision with progressive micro prisms the

uniformity of the light may not be guaranteed, as there are many

factors that influence the incision, among which there are:

• Dimensions • Temperature • Color Rendering Index • Shape • Number of LEDs

Folio incisions take into consideration, for each panel, all these

factors in order to guarantee an excellent product.
