In the event of a tie for first place after 72 holes, there will be a three- hole aggregate score play-off on Holes 13, 17 and 18. If the score remains tied at the conclusion of the play-off, a hole-by-hole play-off will take place until the tie is broken. The hole-by-hole play-off will begin on Hole 18, and move to 13, 17 and 18 repeated. The Wanamaker Trophy Presentation Ceremony will occur immediately following the play-off. AUGUST 4 - 10, 2014 • VALHALLA GOLF CLUB SPECTATOR GUIDE PHOTOS / AUTOGRAPHS Cameras are only allowed at Valhalla Golf Club Monday through Wednesday, and are not permitted on-site during Championship Rounds, Thursday through Sunday. Mobile device cameras may not be used to take photos during Championship Rounds. Autographs may be requested and given at the contestants’ convenience at the Practice Range and Putting Green during Practice Rounds only. ADMISSION POLICY There will be no daily re-admission to the grounds of Valhalla Golf Club. If you leave the grounds, you must have a full ticket to return to the Championship. Once the bottom of the ticket has been scanned, it will no longer provide admission. The only exception is when the Weather Warning signs have been posted. Please wear your ticket in plain view at all times as security personnel will not allow admission to the PGA Championship for individuals without appropriate credentials. JUNIOR ADMISSION POLICY To provide the ultimate family entertainment value, the PGA of America is excited to offer up to four (4) complimentary junior admissions with every paid adult ticket. Junior admissions apply to youth age 17 and under, and may be obtained at the Admission Sales and Will Call Office located at the Main Spectator Entrance on the day of entry. Junior tickets do not gain access into private hospitality areas. MILITARY ADMISSION POLICY To honor the men and women who serve our country in the Armed Forces, The PGA of America is pleased to offer Active Duty, Retirees, Active Reserve, National Guard, Department of Defense Civilians and their accompanying spouse complimentary daily grounds admission to the Championship. Upon arrival, Military personnel must go to the Admissions and Will Call Office to present their Military ID (spouse must present Dependent ID) in exchange for daily grounds tickets. IDs must be presented in order to receive Daily Grounds tickets. INCLEMENT WEATHER POLICY FOR SPECTATORS Please observe the Leader Boards and Thru Boards for the Weather Warning Sign which will appear when inclement weather is approaching the site. When the signs appear, spectators are advised to take precautions and seek shelter PRIOR to play being suspended. If the sirens sound, seek shelter immediately. In the event of inclement weather, please remember to avoid the following: • Grandstands • Telephone Poles • Golf carts • Bodies of Water • Metal Fences • Tall and/or Isolated Trees • Hill Tops and High Places • Open Fields WEATHER Average August temperatures in Louisville, Kentucky range from a high of 88 degrees to a low of 69 degrees. MOBILE DEVICE POLICY Those wishing to use their mobile devices will be asked to adjust the volume setting to “silent” or “vibrate” while at the Championship. • Guests may accept or make phone calls in designated “Phone Zone” areas throughout the golf course, primarily near concession stands. • Digital messaging and checking data is allowed on the golf course. • Mobile device camera use is NOT permitted during the Championship Rounds. • No video recording will be permitted at any time during Championship Week. Spectators attempting to use their mobile device in unauthorized areas or in ways not sanctioned will be asked to surrender the device and pick it up at a designated location after they depart the golf course. CONDUCT, CUSTOMS AND ETIQUETTE Please be advised of the following standards of conduct and etiquette: • Everyone is requested to display traditional customs of etiquette, decorum and behavior, and to obey all Championship policies, signs and verbal instructions of Championship Officials. • For the safety of everyone and in keeping with policy established at major sporting events, running is considered to be unacceptable behavior. • Although cheering and positive gallery responses to great play are encouraged, unsolicited and consistent calls from the gallery are prohibited. • Please stay behind the gallery ropes and cooperate with the Marshals. • Please kneel or sit if you are in the front row and remain still throughout each shot. ITEMS TO LEAVE AT HOME The items listed below are strictly prohibited on the grounds of Valhalla Golf Club. All bags will be searched upon entering the Championship. • Backpacks of any size. • Bags larger than 10” x 10” x 10” in their natural state. Prohibited bags will NOT be accepted or stored at the golf course. • Personal electronics such as, hand-held games, radios, televisions, iPods, etc. • All oversized chairs with wide arm rests. Small, portable, folding chairs are permitted. Carry bags will be searched prior to entry. • Weapons of any kind (regardless of permit), including pocket knives. • Coolers, ladders, milk crates, signs, posters, banners, dogs and other pets. • Food and beverages (including alcoholic beverages). One bottle of water with unopened seal per spectator is permitted. • Other items deemed unlawful or dangerous by Championship Security personnel, at their sole discretion. • Please leave all prohibited items in your vehicle as they will not be permitted at the Championship.
