Tuesday, November 26th — advocates, faith and labor allies came togeth-
er for a press conference and action to end hunger.
The struggle of food insecurity demands real systemic change in New York
State, and in a time when more and more full and part-time workers are
pushed to rely on emergency fixes like food pantries and soup kitchens
just to get by, it is shameful and outrageous that vital food assistance pro-
grams like SNAP continue to be cut.
Sponsors included:
Hunger Action Network of New York State, FOCUS Churches of Albany, Labor Religion Coalition of
New York State, Citizen Action of New York, and New Yorkers for Fiscal Fairness.

cused on support to individuals and families who struggle with food
