They had a winning record except for the games with our new league powerhouse, Ludington. The team consisted of 14 hardworking athletes and two managers. They learned how to compete in the game of volleyball, learning fundamentals of “bump, set and spike,” and strategies of offense and defense. Many of the girls came to the season with no experience, but finished it with very capable skills and knowledge of the game. The girls played a “right-front-setter” offense and were committed to setting up the hitters. Most competitive servers included Brooklyn Samlow, Alexis Juergens and Kimberly Sauers. Most consistent passers included Olivia Netzler, Katana Danielly, Kelsie Schultz, Taylor Chartrand, and Alexis Juergens. Girls who led their team FMS 7 th grade volleyball team.
