St Theresa’s Feast Day

Sunday 1st October at 10am.

Main Celebrant: Bishop Patrick

There will be refreshments in the hall afterwards.

Please note there will not be a Saturday evening 6.30 Mass at St Theresa’s or 11.00 am mass at

Sacred Heart.

If you would like to provide any food or drink for refreshments please put your details on the list at the back of the Church – Thank you

The Bishop will be coming on Friday 6th July 2018 to celebrate the Sacrament of Confirmation in our parish.

If you, or anyone you know would like to be confirmed, there will be an information evening on Friday 29th September at 7.30pm in the hall. For more information speak to Bernadette, or Fr Saji.

First Holy Communion First Holy Communion parent’s information session is on Monday 25th September at 6.30pm in St. Theresa’s Parish Hall. If any children are in year 3 and would be ready to start the programme could parents/guardians please attend this meeting. The First Communion programme is

organised both in the Parish and with the school. Even if your child attends another school and you want them to make their First Holy Communion in the parish you are still invited to this meeting. If you have any further questions please contact Fr Saji or Leanne Graham-Brown.

Processional Cross – If anyone is interested in sponsoring a Processional Cross for Sacred Heart would they please speak to Father Saji.

Photographs From time to time we would like to publish pictures in the church newsletter of the children who have participated in church or school activities, and eventually in the gallery of the church web site. In order for this we need to have photographic permission from parents so would you please read and complete the form which is in the Narthex and return to the church office, Brenda, Lucy Joyce or John Mumford.

Lectio Divina - At the Rosmini Centre, Ratcliffe on Saturday 30 September - Lectio Divina starting at 3.00pm with the Divine Mercy Chaplet, followed by prayer and meditation. Tea/Coffee will be available. Donations welcome.

Prayer Group – Sacred Heart - First Monday in the month – next meeting for Lectio Divina is Monday 2nd October
