Establishing Operations Zones

SAR is an area-specific specialty. Type of area to be search dictates the

kind and type of resource to be utilized. Considering Operations Zones that

might be affected can help with determining the kind, type and number of resources that might be pre-deployed or alerted for deployment.

Generally areas with high-density population and buildings of light, medium and heavy (reinforced)

construction
