LOOK OUT, LOOK OUT, HERE WE COME!
FMP NEWS
A day of hands-on science investigations, interactive learning and even time to become architects! A wonderful day was had by all at ‘The Look Out - Discovery Centre’ in Bracknell.
A message from the team… “Well done to all the children for such fantastic listening during our whole school trip. You acted with such integrity, we are so proud! Thank you to our parent volunteers who made the trip possible, we really appreciate your support!”
GREEN FINGERS…
Earhart class
thoroughly enjoyed
planting their cress
seeds, they also helped
Miss Lipyeat to write
instructions for how
to plant and grow
their seeds.
Earhart class became ‘hungry
caterpillars’ for the day and
munched their way through
their favourite fruits.
They used skewers to assemble their
favourite fruits into a repeating pattern!
THE VERY HUNGRY
CHILDREN…
WALK TO SCHOOL WEEK
Thank you to everyone who made walk to school week such a huge success!
We are delighted to announce that your efforts helped us to receive our first school award.
Mrs Eley presented our ‘Bronze Travel Plan Award’ to the children in assembly.
If you would like to attend please complete the slip at the bottom of the ‘Forest School Parent Visit’ Letter.
THE LITTLE GREEN DINOSAUR
Da Vinci class have amazed the staff this half term with their adaptations of ‘The Little Green
Dinosaur’. Have a look at how they have changed the story and created their own story map!
“My new story has a different
setting, the little green dinosaur
finds himself all alone up a
mountain, he meets a different
character too, it is a flying
pterodactyl!”
Kaia
“My dinosaur is red instead of
green and he doesn’t meet all of the
animals instead he finds himself in
a huge pile of rocks! Then he finds
his mummy.”
Joshie
“My dinosaur finds herself all
alone in a forest and then meets
Elsa, Anna and Snow White in a
castle. Eventually my dinosaur
finds her mummy and they have a
cuddle.”

Before After
Our feathered friends are certainly all grown up and very much enjoying the freedom of their new home at
Holme Grange. Sam’s leg is much stronger now (far left) and he has a new best friend, spot the goose keeping a
close eye on him!
MY, WHAT BIG BEAKS YOU HAVE!
