Highway closures due to flooding may be expected in the early spring, due to heavy rains and water soaked hillsides inland. Highways passing through the city may be closed for extended periods of time, limiting, or entirely restricting, staff ability to commute to work.

The response strategy will include the following items:

1. Phone/SMS/Email contact to all staff advising hem of the situation and to call the Hot-Line.Open the Work-From-Home Emergency Response Folders they have been provided.

2. Staff to connect to the company VPN corporate network, using their secure passwords.

3. Consult with senior response staff for additional specific instructions for this incident.Undertake normal employee duties from their home location.

4. Periodically check the hot-line for information updates.

5. Management staff to consult with the Highways Department for current road closure status.
