2 RD 90000 Drain No 8 (Outfalling Jassia Link Drain near village Sunderpur) -

At this point some obstruction was found in the flow by deposition of sullage of

domestic waste of PHED Treatment plant through Jassia Link Drain situated at Peer

Bhoudi here also at this point Jalkhumbi and some seasonal grasses were found grown

on the bed of the drain Some trees were also fallen in the inner section of the drain due to

recent storm which might cause hindrance to the flow of drain XENIrrigation present at

the site intimated that the fallen trees will have to be removed by forest department and

no industrial waste comes in this drain XENIrrigation has further intimated that drain

No 8 has a good longitudinal slope and there remains no problem in the flow of drain

etc XEN in-charge was directed to remove the fallen trees and other bushes grown in the

inner section of all the drains immediately with the help of departmental team by

coordinating with the forest department XEN in-charge was also directed to take

appropriate action to clear this vegetation growth immediately with the help of

departmental machine MNREGA labour or by floating tenders etc before onset of

monsoon ie before 25062020

3 RD 118000 Drain No 8 (Rohtak- Hissar road Crossing)-

At this point also some normal obstruction in flow of drain was found due to

growth of seasonal grasses and Jalkhumbi etc The service road of drain on one side was

not found maintained Accordingly the irrigation staff was directed to get motorable way

on both the banks of the said drain No 8 in the jurisdiction of revenue estate of district

Rohtak XEN in-charge was also directed to remove all the obstruction below each and

every road crossing ie below every bridge etc

4 RD 37000 Lakhan Majra link Drain (by pass round about Rohtak-Hissar

road Crossing)-

Further the said was inspected at this rotary some normal obstruction due to

vegetation of seasonal grasses Jalkhumbi sarkanda in the inner section of the drain and

some other small bushes on bank sides etc at the site were also noticed XENIrrigation

was directed to do the needful for all the unauthorized bore well installed by the adjacent

shareholders on the banks of drains for use of irrigation as per Haryana Canal amp Drainage

Act 29 of 1974 and as per IPC against the defaulters XENIrrigation was also directed to

get measurement of all drains under the revenue estate of district Rohtak alongwith the

revenue staff of district administration and to ensure encroachment free drains under the

jurisdiction XEN in-charge was directed to take appropriate action to clear this

5 RD 85000 Meham drain (Rohtak-Hissar Road crossing near village

Balambh)-

Normal vegetation ie seasonal grasss were also found etc at the site Further the

Pump house at the site was inspected The capacity of the machinery installed at Pump

House at the outfall of the Behlbha PH link drain was explained by XENMechanical

Rohtak XENIrrigation intimated that the Meham drain originates from village Gugaheri

and the longitudinal slope of the drain having length 142200 feet is almost negligible ie

005 always causing hindrance in smooth flow of discharge in drain due to its defective

alignment XENIrrigation also intimated that there is heavy sloughing problem of banks

which also always causing obstruction in flow of the drain and therefore to overcome

these natural defects number of departmental excavator always remain deployed on the

drain which presently working on the drain near RD 110000 near village nindana and

from RD 142200 to 110000 the drain has been internally cleared amp banks of drain are

also strengthened as per requirement He further intimated that due to this negligible

slope the drain back flow when the canal water is released in the drain through the escape

channel at RD 73000 (Kharkara Head) and due to this back flow during rainy season the

banks of the drain are badly damaged But now both side banks of the drain were found

strengthened by the Irrigation department as directed during the joint flood inspection

before monsoon 2019 last year Accordingly XEN in-charge was directed to apply some

technical aspects to achieve the nominal slope for smooth flow of discharge and also to

make suitable mechanism to permanently resolve the problem of sloughing

Sarpanch and villagers of village Behalba were also present at the site and

requested to install a new pump house at RD 90000 Meham Drain XENIrrigation was

directed to do the needful for all the unauthorized bore well installed by the adjacent

shareholders on the banks of drains for use of irrigation as per Haryana Canal amp Drainage

Act 29 of 1974 and as per IPC against the defaulters SE UHBVN accompanying the

inspection was directed to ensure uninterrupted electric supply during flood season

Sarpanch and villagers of village Behalba also requested regarding hygienic

condition of WWT of village accordingly XENPHED accompanying the inspection

was directed to do the needful immediately and also to ensure drinking water supply in

each and every village under the jurisdiction of revenue estate of Rohtak district
