Then select Newspapers and Magazines.

Page 5: Flipster

You will find Flipster at the bottom the page. Select the link.

(If you are accessing from off campus, you will need to log in with your JCC username and password. )

On Flipster, select a magazine and browse using the arrows provided

Page 7: Flipster

You can also download the app and view magazines from your iPad or Android tablet.

To do this, go to your app store, search for Flipster and download the app to your device.

Page 8: Flipster

Next, go to the browser on your device (Safari, Chrome, etc). As you did in the first part of this tutorial, navigate to the library website and find the link for Flipster on the Newspapers and Magazines.

Page 9: Flipster

From the Flipster website search for or choose the magazine you would like to read.

Page 10: Flipster

If the Flipster app is installed, then a bar will show up at the top giving you the option to open the Magazine in the Flipster app.

Page 11: Flipster

Downloading it to the app is essentially like “checking out” the magazine, so you will notice that there is a due date listed under it. This means that the magazine will disappear from the app after that due date.

Now you are done and ready to read your magazine from the comfort of your portable device.
