QUILT ASSEMBLY: Refer to QUILT DIAGRAM for proper block placement and rotation. 21. Sew (1) F 2-1/2” X 32-1/2” sashing strip to the bottom of (1) BLOCK 1, then sew (1) F 2-1/2” X 26-1/2” sashing strip to the top of (1) BLOCK 2.

Sew BLOCK 1 and BLOCK 2 together with (1) F 2-1/2” X 18-1/2” strip in between to create ROW 1. 22. Sew (1) F 2-1/2” X 16-1/2” sashing strip to the top of (1) BLOCK 3, then sew (1) F 8-1/2” X 16-1/2” rectangle to bottom. Sew (1) F 2-1/2” X 42-

1/2” sashing strip to each side of BLOCK 4. Sew (1) F 2-1/2” X 16-1/2” sashing strip to the bottom of (1) BLOCK 3, then sew (1) F 8-1/2” X 16-1/2” rectangle to top. Sew blocks together to create ROW 2.

23. Sew (1) F 2-1/2” X 26-1/2” sashing strip to the bottom of (1) BLOCK 2, then sew (1) F 2-1/2” X 32-1/2” sashing strip to the top of (1) BLOCK 1. Sew BLOCK 2 and BLOCK 1 together with (1) F 2-1/2” X 18-1/2” strip in between to create ROW 3.

24. Sew rows together.

BORDER ASSEMBLY: Measure width and length of quilt top to ensure border cutting sizes. Below are our measurements . 25. Sew (1) F 2-1/2” X (78-1/2”) strip to each side of quilt, then sew (1) F 2-1/2” X (64-1/2”) strip to top and bottom.

FINISHING: Cut batting and backing 3” larger than top on all sides. Layer backing, batting and top together and baste or pin. Quilt as desired. When quilting is completed, trim excess batting and backing. Bind as usual.
