Flexible product approach

A wide range of samples can be measured, from low to high viscosity products. Sam-pling and cleaning cycles and result limits can be programmed individually for each type of sample. Once analysis is complete, sample recovery allows the sample to be re-tained in the vial as a reference sample.

Various samples – multiple parameters

All analysis results are shown on the in-strument touchscreen. A computer is only required when handling a large product database or when data needs to be ex-ported to LIMS or ERP. With the LabX client/server software, the computer can be set up remotely, for example in the office of the lab manager.

The fully automatic analysis of samples saves time, increases throughput, and prevents data transcription errors. The modularity of the systems allows existing instruments to be upgraded with additional modules at any time to add further measurement parameters to the analysis. The standard solution provides reliable and comparable results, wherever the system is used.

DensityThe LiquiPhysics DM density meter typically acts as the master and controls all other instruments, including the automation unit. One click on the selected product or measure-ment method starts the measurement on all connected instruments. The measurement is performed automatically and all results are displayed on the touchscreen. All measure-ment data can be analyzed and transferred to an LIMS or ERP system.

Automation The SC1 and SC30 sample delivery and cleaning units completely automate the mea-surement of all parameters, including sampling, rinsing and drying. Using compressed air allows high viscous samples to be measured. There is no evaporation or contamina-tion of the samples. SC1 is for single samples, SC30 for 30 samples.

Refractive IndexLiquiPhysics RX refractive index measuring cells can be connected to the DM density meter to measure refractive index or related values in a multi-parameter system. Benchtop LiquiPhysics RM refractometers are also available for standalone measure-ments.

A standalone instrument can be upgraded with different modules at any time to increase throughput and add further measuring parameters to the analysis. The SC1 and SC30 sample delivery and cleaning units allow the processes of sampling, draining, rinsing and drying to be automated.

Simultaneous measurement of density, refractive index, pH/conductivity, and color. The open architecture allows further instruments, such as polarimeters, to be added. The LabX software makes it easy to manage all instruments, users with different profiles, product database, methods, and measurement data, with full integration in your IT environment.

pHThe SevenCompact S220 pH/ion meter can be connected to the LiquiPhysics DM density meters or RM refractometers, using a flow cell to measure pH.

ColorThe compact Konica Minolta CM-5 desktop spectrophotometer can be used either within a multi-parameter system or as standalone instrument to measure and analyze the color of liquid samples in transmission and solid samples in reflectance. When equipped with a special flow cell, the CM-5 becomes a fully integrated and controlled instrument for color measurement of liquids within a multi-parameter analysis system.

SoftwareOur LabX software conveniently manages instruments, users, methods, measurement results, system suitability tests, and adjustments. Reports can be adapted to specific corporate layout formats. The results of multiple instruments are stored in the same data-base and can be exported to LIMS or ERP systems. LabX fully supports software valida-tion and compliance with relevant regulations, including 21CFR Part 11.

Save up to 70% labor timeAll four measurements are taken fully automati-cally by pressing just one button or scanning the barcode. Rather than spending a lot of time per-forming measurements and then cleaning each individual instrument, operators can schedule their valuable time for more demanding tasks.

Increase throughput by 50% All parameters are determined simultaneously in all instruments, rather than each individual analysis being performed in sequence one after the other. The SC30 sample changer can be loaded with up to 30 samples. A built-in barcode reader identifies each sample and starts the corresponding analysis automatically.

The dedicated solution for fully automatic analysis of all parameters helps increase efficiency and ensures high data quality. Operator-independent measurements ensure maximum reproducibility and save labor costs.

Manage raw materials and final productsA product database with all raw materials and finished products can be imported from an existing database into the LabX software. The measure-ment results are automatically compared against the target values and limits stored in the product database. Fully customized reports or quality cer-tificates can be created with LabX.

No transcription errorsThe whole workflow takes place without any hu-man interaction, thereby eliminating the risk of transcription errors. The sample is identified by barcode, the corresponding measurement method is selected accordingly, and a comparison of the results with the target values is then performed. The "pass/fail" result is stored in the database with all measurement data and can be transferred to an LIMS or ERP system (e.g. SAP).
