What is flash? Flash is one of the

available software that is used for creating

animation.

TOOL PANELSome of the features of

tool panel are described in adjoining

figure.

STAGEThe blank rectangle filling at the bottom

portion of the screen is called the stage.

TIME LINEThe area above the stage that has a ruler like strip and a field labeled layer

1 is the time line.

PLAY HEADThe red square in time line

used to ‘move through’ the project by dragging it with the mouse to preview

the animation process.

PROPERTY INSPECTOR

It displays the property of selected objects including text, image, line, shape, or

even a table.

MENU BARIt displays menus with commands for working with flash.

FLASH WORK SPACEAny graphics played in stage area will be visible and accessible to the user

for working on it.

LINE TOOLThe line tool draws

straight lines.

PENCIL TOOLThe pencil tool draws

free – hand lines.

PEN TOOLPen tool draws precise paths as straight lines,

smooth, flowing curves, etc.

OVAL TOOLThe oval tool draws

oval or circular objects on stage.

RECTANGLE TOOL

Rectangle tool creates rectangles and squares

with or with out rounded corners.

POLYSTAR TOOL

Polystar tool draws polygon or star.

BRUSH TOOLBrush tool paints with

brush likes strokes.

ERASER TOOLEraser tool erases any

thing that is drawn

on the stage.

HOW TO CREATE A FLASH DOCUMENT ?

Step1 : Select file menu > New. Step2 : Select flash document

option in Type list.Step3 : Click on OK button.
