DIRECTRELIEFDirect Relief is California’s largest international humanitariannonprofit organization, providing medical assistance to improvethe health and lives of those affected by poverty and disaster.

Founded in 1948, Direct Relief has helped people in both theUnited States and throughout the world for nearly sevendecades. Beginning in 2000, the organization has responded to awide range of urgent and ongoing health emergencies byproviding over $3.4 billion in essential material resources, suchas medicine, supplies, and equipment.

THE ROTARY FOUNDATION

The Rotary Foundation is a nonprofit that works to advanceworld understanding, goodwill, and peace. Using grants, Rotary’s34,000 clubs all around the world can develop and carry outsustainable humanitarian projects and provide scholarships andprofessional training opportunities.

One of the foundation’s biggest initiatives has been theeradication of polio through its PolioPlus program. Through theirpartnerships with our organizations, over 2.5 billion childrenhave been immunized, reducing the incidence of polio by 99%and eradicating it from all by three countries.

The Institute of International Education is one of the world’slargest and most experienced international education andtraining organizations.

The institute was founded back in 1919 with the mission ofpromoting closer educational relations between the people ofthe United States and those of other countries. The groupworks to strengthen and link institutions of higher learningaround the world, as well as build leadership skills so thatindividuals and organizations can address local and globalchallenges themselves.

THE US FUNDFOR UNICEF

The U.S. Fund for UNICEF supports UNICEF’s work around theworld through the process of fundraising, advocacy, andeducation.

Four decades ago, UNICEF realized that it was possible to savemillions of life through the implementation of simple, low-costinterventions like hand-washing and breastfeeding. This simplemission has helped children in more than 190 countries andterritories across the globe.

Natural Resource Defense Council is committed to improving ourplanet. The organization works to restore the integrity of theelements that sustain life on earth: air, land, water.

This environmental protection group works withbusinesses, elected officials, and community groups to developways to handle the world’s most pressing environmental issues,including ocean revitalization, clean water, and sustainablecommunities.
