USC REC SPORTS• Our services provide a welcoming and empowering environment designed

to educate and promote a healthy lifestyle for all fitness levels.

• The USC Fitness Centers are free but our Group Fitness Classes, Personal

Training, and Private Pilates have fees.

• CPR/AED/First Aid – (we provide training in house)

• NCCA (National Commission for Certifying Agencies) Nationally Recognized Personal Training Certification

• ACE – American Council on Exercise – http://www.acefitness.org

• ACSM – American College of Sports Medicine -http://certification.acsm.org/

• Group Fitness Instructor Certification

• ACE – American Council on Exercise – http://www.acefitnessorg

• AFAA – Aerobics and Fitness Association of America – http://www.afaa.com

• Any other specialty certifications (Zumba, Yoga, Spinning, etc.)

• F45 Instructors:• CPR/AED/First Aid – (we provide training in house)

• F45 Training - (we provide training in house and online training)

• Personal Training or Group Fitness Instructor Certification (preferred but not required)

4. Sign-up & create account or log

into your account

5. Once you’re verified as a member,

select FITNESS (this goes for the

app or on a desktop computer)

6. Sign up for available classes & if

classes are full select wait-list

• You can drop classes up to 2

hours before the class

7. Accept waiver & sign up

8. Grab your ID & head to class!

• The first two weeks of each

semester are free to try.

• Sign up 24 hours in advance for

limited capacities classes at

myrecsports.usc.edu OR the

IMleagues App

• Please do not be late as we have

a No Late Entry Policy.

• Drop the class at least two hours

prior to avoid a no show.

• After three no shows you will be

suspended from classes for a

week.

Our Private Instruction services

provide one-on-one Pilates

Reformer sessions to meet your

individual fitness needs and

goals.

• Once the purchase has been made, you will be contacted to set your appointment

Assessment:

Fitness assessments are a great way to identify strengths and weaknesses, set realistic and attainable goals and measure progress. This 45 minute assessment will include baseline measurements, body composition, height and weight circumference, cardiovascular endurance, muscle endurance, and flexibility.

Jump Start:

This two-session service includes a 45 minute fitness assessment and a 60 minute personal training sessions. The personal training session will focus on the results of the fitness assessment and target areas of improvement. You and your trainer will also discuss the major muscle components to include general nutrition advice geared towards your goals.

1 INBODY ANALYSIS: $20

• The InBody 570 is a body composition analysis machine, that provides you with two vital clues to optimizing your fitness plan:

• It provides information about what you are made of (Muscle vs Fat), and will help you understand how to train more efficiently for your body.

• It shows you detailed information about the absolute amounts of fat and non-fat tissue within your body, as well as the ratio of fat to total body mass (TBM) and Basal Metabolic Rate which all affects health and physical performance.
