Math proficiency test
• Objective: to identify students who may need assistance in the numeracy skills necessary to succeed in the program
• This test is mandatory• The test takes place during Week IV for BUS 100
on Sept. 28 ,29 or 30, 2016.• Check TRS-099 selection (organization) on the D2L page for practice
materials, details, tutorials, etc. There is an active discussion board with practice exams available!
• Two chances to take the test in the Fall semester (need 65%)• Students who cannot achieve the minimum receive an incomplete

DECLARING A MAJOR on RAMSS
• You must declare a Major on RAMSS in 2nd semester during Course Intentions period (March 2016)
• There will be a “Choose your Major” session in BUS100 during Week 9
• There will be a “Choose your Major” full day event in March 2017
• Be advised that the Marketing major has eligibility requirements to get into the Major (see Calendar)
• ! You can always change your major/plan using a plan change form online or available in your program office in TRS 1-004.
• ! You also have the option to apply for a Minor at the time of graduation, but you need to plan this ahead. Consult the Calendar or the Admin Assistant for your department in second year.
