FIRST-YEAR ENROLLMENT REQUIREMENT: All first-time, full-time students with fewer than 15 credit hours

are required to take either a Learning Community OR a First-Year Seminar during their first semester at KSU:

• KSU 1101 “Original” First-Year Seminar

• KSU 1111 Tomorrow’s World Today

• KSU 1121 Be the Change

• KSU 1200 Leadership

• KSU 2290 Special Topics: Challenging Assumptions

12 semester hours considered “full time” (4 three-hour courses)

15 semester hours (5 three-hour courses) if you don’t want to attend summer

You must earn 30 semester hours to become a sophomore!
