• The transition program strives to provide academic opportunities and preparation for the success of all first-year students.

1. To give students the basic skills to succeed academically

2. To give students the opportunity to develop higher-level thinking and decision-making abilities

3. To increase the number of students staying in school until graduation

4. To increase the number of students participating in more rigorous academic courses
