The South Carolina Conference has a God sized dream to collect 1,000,000 (1 Million) new, age- appropriate books for pre-school and elementary school children by June 3rd, 2014 (Tuesday of Annual Conference). - This breaks down to roughly 83,500 books per District and roughly 1,000 books per church. Please join us in this mission. A drop off box is in the Commons. FUMC is collecting Used Books for adults and especially for children. Please leave your donations in the designated box in the Commons! Midday Prayer in the Hut Chapel Mondays at noon. The order of daily praise and prayer will be used following an ancient pattern of congregational prayer as found in our hymnal. The service will be held each Monday and will last approximately 15 minutes. Today we give to the “Epworth Mothers Day Offering!” Today our church will receive the Annual Epworth Mother’s Day Offering to invest in the comprehensive care we are called by God to provide for the children at Epworth Children's Home, our church’s ministry to God’s children.
