First Look - MatrixCare Senior Living 2018R3 The next MatrixCare Senior Living release is planned for July and we are busy preparing some exciting enhancements.

Detailed User Interface Updates Now that we have updated most of the main “junction” or “center” pages throughout MCSL, we are turning our focus to updating one menu item at a time, starting with Clinical menu items. Our goal is to provide a seamless, updated appearance for each menu and the functions performed.

• The table at the bottom of the page now contains cosmetic updates, following the format of the main notes page: the columns are sortable, the show/hide columns are added, and the search option is added.

Modify Note

• Cosmetic changes are made on the main Notes – Edit page: the columns are sortable,

the show/hide columns are added, and the search option is added. The Group Name column is relabeled to Note Type.

• The Notes - Edit screen contains cosmetic updates. Group Name is changed to Note

Type and the character count is added to the Notes box.

View Note For the Notes – View screen, rather than having to filter to a specific note type to view, all notes for a selected person will now appear. You can also filter to a specific Note Type, by either sorting on the Note Type column or entering the note type in the search box. which will filter the results shown.

Print or Export Note

Both the Notes: Print (monthly, weekly, or all notes) and the Notes: Export screens are updated with standard cosmetic screen changes

Audit Log For the Audit Log screen, we are making only minor cosmetic updates.

Incidents: Residents Entering an incident starts by completing the Incident Manager screen, which is a short summary of the Incident dates and times, and selecting the resident involved. In addition to basic cosmetic updates, you will see the changes described below:

• Incident Start Date and End Date are combined into one start/end date field that uses a new calendar/date selector widget.

• Incident times now use a new time selector widget.

• You will no longer be able to enter an incident for more than one resident at a time. You

must now select a single resident from the Resident drop down list.

• Clicking Save will save the incident details, mark the Incident with a status of New, and return the user to the main Incidents page.

• Clicking Add Details will take the user to the main Incident Entry page where the details are entered.

Modify Incident (or Add Details) You can navigate to the Incident Entry page one of two ways: select Add Details from the Incident Manager screen or, from the main Incidents page, highlight an incident/resident and click the Modify button.

Although this screen received major cosmetic updates, there are no major functionality changes. Following are four screen shots that depict one continuous page for Incident Entry.

Quick Modify > Append The previous Edit Desc option on the Quick Modify menu is changed to Append. Beginning with this release, you can no longer edit previously entered incident information. You can only append information. This applies to the four fields on the Append screen: Brief Description of Incident, Incident facts, Current Status Update, and Comments/Final Resolution.

Print Incident For Print Incident, we are making only minor cosmetic updates. See Notes Print for sample of the new screen.

Incident Audit Log For the Audit Log screen, we are making only minor cosmetic updates.

Additional Value-Added Updates

Deposit Slip Audit Log A new Audit Log feature is added to capture all user activity. The left side of the Audit Log screen contains information for new or cancelled deposits, and modified dates and amounts for a deposit.

The right side of the Audit Log contains information for users with the Bank Control (BKC) permissions who may have made Edits or used the Unadjust button. The audit log will show when the Check Date, Collections Date, Account Number are changed, or when payments are unadjusted in the current or closed period.

Copy Evaluation When copying an evaluation template for a resident to create a new evaluation, any questions that remain unchanged from the original template will have the answers carried forward so they do not need to be re-entered. Any questions that are different from the original template will require manual entry.

Accounting > Revenue Report We created a new report based on the Revenue Report Drill Down details. You can now create a report that includes all the transactions for all GL Codes in one file. You can sort or filter based on Entry Types, or run the report for multiple months and by community.

Sales & Marketing

HubSpot Marketing Automation Integration In this release we are adding the ability to connect to an additional marketing automation product named HubSpot.

The HubSpot connection allows you to set up one or more communities per connection.

Lead Deposits In the Lead Center, on the Lead Deposits tab, the Deposits and Fees will now update when a refund check is cut and/or voided.

Community Specific Connections In this release we added the ability to create individual marketing automation connections on a community basis, and the ability to select specific mailing lists per people type.

• The Connection Setup screen is updated to allow selection of one or more communities per connection.

• After entering your vendor specific credentials, the Contact Type Setup screen appears.

• In the vendor specific List field, select the list you want to link to the specific contact

type. • In the Contact Type field, select the Contact Type(s) from the options provided. • When finished, click the Save button. • A success message appears. Click OK to dismiss it.
