Eligible competitors INTERNATIONAL OFFENThe entry is open for all fencers born on the 31st December 1989 or earlier.Every competitor must present a valid passport or identity card. AustrianFencers need to have their fencing pass.

Age categories: AK SK (30+) born 1980 to 1989AK I (40+) born 1970 to 1979AK II (50+) born 1960 to 1969AK III (60+) born 1950 to 1959AK IV (70+) born 1949 or earlier

Registration Passport or ID are mandatory for registration.

Referees will be provided from the organizer

Weapon control 60 min to 30 min prior the start of the individual competitions

Announcement Until April, 5th 2019 to: [email protected] registration for the individual event could be made until 60 minutesprior the start, last call 40 minutes before the start, scratch 30 minutesbefore the start!

Entrie fees Individual EUR 35,--second start EUR 15,-- for 2nd or 3rd weaponTeam Stafetta EUR 60,--Entry Fees must be made prior the beginning of each event. There is nopossibility to start without having paid entree fee. Paying can only bedone in cash! Credit cards are not accepted.

Awards Goblets for the places 1 to 3 in individual and team competitionAll participants get one meal for free at the buffet.

Implementing rules Equipment and formula according the regulations of the FIE and theAustrian Fencing Federation especially the regulation for registration(valid fencing pass for Austrian fencers).The Anti-Doping-Regulations are according the FIE regulations, thenational law for founding the sport and the federal Anti-Doping-Law. Allparticipants agree with their registration the previous mentioned Anti-Doping regulations.

Competitionformat individual

Depending on the number of starters 1 - 2 preliminary rounds and directelimination without repechage

Preliminary round According the number of participants, rounds of five to seven people areformed. With enough starters, each age group is fenced separately. Withtoo less starters age groups are merged (e.g., 30+ together with 40+).Female and male are fencing separately.No fencer is stepping out.

Direct elimination On Saturday April 13th, 2019, after the preliminary round each age groupwill fence separately until the quarterfinals. The semi-finals and finals ofeach category will take place on Sunday, April 14th, 2019 in the morning.

Competitionformat team

The Stafetta is fought in all three weapons (foil, epee, sabre) using bothgenders.A team consists of one woman and one man for each weapon (6 fencersin total). Each athlete fights against the opponent of the opposing teamwith the same weapon and the same gender.The total number of bouts in each team match is 6. Each bout lasts 3minutes. The regulations are applied according the FIE rules for teammatches (including passivity). The Stafetta ends when a team has scored30 hits.The total age of the six fencing team members must be at least 270 years(2019 minus birth year). Any team can be formed (club, region, nation,international).Example of the sequence of a Stafetta:

The order of the weapons will be determined by drawing the lots at thebeginning of the match and can differ accordingly from the aboveexample. Thereafter the order of the bouts does not change until the endof each team fight.Ladies and men always fence alternately. A team member can start in amaximum of 2 weapons.

Safety The safety regulations of the FIE and the equipment regulations of theÖFV must be applied.

Haftungsausschluss Every participant starts at his own risk. The organizer disclaims all liabilityin case of accidents and thefts. Changes of the programme could be doneto run the competition smoothly.
