Chow Chun Fai• Graduated from the Chinese University of Hong

Kong, the Department of Fine Arts (BA and MFA), • Chairman of Fotanian Artist Village. • In 2012 he ran the election of the Hong Kong

Legislative Council, the Sports, Performing Arts, Culture and Publication constituency.

• Recent exhibitions include Liverpool Biennial, and Saatchi Gallery.

• Received awards include “Hong Kong Arts Centre 30th Anniversary Award Grand Prize”, and “the Sovereign Asian Art Prize”.

Danny Lee • Full time sculptor, graduated from the Swire School of Design of the former

Hong Kong Polytechnic University, completed the Modern Sculpture Certificate Course organized by the Department of Extra-mural Studies from the University of Hong Kong. He established the "Creative Sculptors Hong Kong" and became its Founder Chairman 1993.

2001 and 2003, "Reunion and Vision – Contemporary Hong Kong Art 1997" in the Hong Kong Museum of Art in 1997, "Volume & Form, Singapore Sculpture Fair’99" in Singapore in 1999, "Hong Kong Art in Paris" in UNSECO Headquarters in Paris, France in 2000, "International Ice Sculpture Exhibition" in Canada in 2004, "The Contemporary Sculptors Invitational Exhibition" at Cheng Du, China in 2007 and "The Hong Kong Visual Art Society 34th Annual Exhibition" at the University Museum & Art Gallery in the University of Hong Kong in 2007.

City Landscapes

Common scenes in fleeting time in an urban landscape have been captured, and then transferred and reformulated. The truth and falsehood, and the substance and illusion, of an object are expressed through apparent appreciation and indulgence.Through these works, I have pondered the necessary balance in urban development, reflecting on urban construction and destruction.

Tim Li Man-Wai• Studied in Australia at the age of 17. • Degree in architecture, • Working at the Housing Department Hong Kong, • Chairman of the Para/Site board since 2003: “We constantly

look for gaps in the art scene. If I would summarise what we do, it’s trying to fill the gaps. We want holistic growth of the whole art scene, so we’re constantly looking at what other people are doing so we don’t repeat things.”

• initiatives: an art criticism group; PS magazine; October Contemporary – a festival for young artists to show their stuff; and a curatorial program funded by the Jockey Club, in order to bring sophisticated curatorial practice to Hong Kong. Para/Site is much more than just a gallery, it’s building an organic and dynamic arts community.

• Later degrees: First MBA, then a JD, working on a PhD in Fine Arts.
