The festival features free live music at the Rotary Park gazebo immediately outside the theater as well as ticketed headliner performances from Gillian Welch, Greg Brown, and Iris DeMent in the Opera House during the evenings. Food vendors will be on-hand as well as artists, sellers of goods, and local non-profits, eager to say hello. Additionally, you can stroll two blocks to the Stoughton Junior Fair and Carni- val in Mandt Park. Come for the music and stay for the fireworks – 9:30pm July 4th and July 6th! Beer and wine will be available, so bring a valid ID if you plan to drink while at the festival. It's going to be a ton of fun, so come on out and say hello! Award winning Americana icon Gillian Welch will be headlining the festival on Thursday, July 3. Saturday, July 5th features Greg Brown, one of folk music’s most prolific and profound singer/songwriters sup- ported by long-time John Prine col- laborator Jason Wilber. Iris De- Ment will cap off the festivities on Sunday, July 6. With her pure, evocative vocal style and spare, heartfelt song craft, Iris is one of the America’s most celebrated country- folk performers. Charlie Parr opens the show for Iris!
