How we are organized The Chapel of the Cross organization is divided into six commissions that integrate clergy, staff, and parishioners. Our opportunities for service, involvement, and engagement are organized by the six commissions:

• worship • Christian formation, • pastoral care, hospitality and fellowship• outreach and social justice • finance• administration

Theseopportunitiesalsoalignwiththefiveprioritiesofthestrategicmission and ministry plan (abbreviated here):

• Shaping Christian lives• Creating Christian community• Inviting, welcoming, and engaging all• Sharing our faith, values and voice• Sustaining our church

The commissions are accountable for implementing the major priorities of the strategic mission and ministry plan and empowered to decide what action steps to take to move forward on the plan. Committees and groups within each commission gather three or four times a year to share information, receive training, and collaborate on special projects. We urgeyoutofindyourplaceattheChapeloftheCrossandinourmissionand ministry structure.
