Waste (C&D Waste) and debris generated from developmental activities in Mumbaiare to be scientifically disposed of by the developers. Maharashtra Chamber ofHousing Industry (MCHI) the apex body of the Housing Construction Industry hasapproached MCGM for identifying and approving new sites for accommodating theC&D Waste/Debris generated within Mumbai.
MCGM therefore request the land owner/POA/Authorized Representative tocome forward to allow low lying plots and similar lands to private developers.Contractors and other agencies to unload/fill their plots with construction &demolition waste. The approval as C&D site will be given on compliance of following.
1) The applicant should apply with clear title certificate & Property card / 7 x 12extract.2) Local authority/statutory permission as applicable for filling & levelling to beobtained by the applicant.3) Contour map (to assess tilling capacity) of plot.4) No financial remuneration will be given by MCGM.5) The format of application to be filled.6) The transporter/approved site owner shall be required to comply withConstruction and Demolition Waste Rules, 2016 as promulgated by Government ofIndia.7) Other detailed conditions as displayed on MCGM website portal.mcgm.gov.in.
