1. Welcome
Welcome to the Law Society of Scotland’s financial benchmarking survey.
This is the third year of the Society's new financial benchmarking survey (previously cost of
time), following the 2017 appointment of leading technology systems and services provider,
Tribal.
Tribal has developed a free, online financial benchmarking tool in conjunction with the Society
which will allow our members to complete a secure and confidential online questionnaire.
The system will offer interactive online reporting on the findings to help solicitors assess their
own firm’s financial health year on year, and its performance analysis means firms can
compare how they have performed in the wider market.
This user guide is designed to help users complete the online questionnaire.
