By understanding financial statements,
participants will be in a better position to

Trainer
Dr. Stelios N. Markoulis
studied finance at Cass
Business School (BSc, MSc,
PhD) and London School
of Economics (MSc). He
currently teaches in the
area of finance – as a
member of the visiting faculty - at the Cyprus
International Institute of Management and
Cyprus Open University. In the past he worked
for several years in the investment banking
industry, obtaining valuable experience in the
areas of raising public and private capital
from the equity and bond markets, mergers
and acquisitions, private equity, and
company valuation, among others. His main
research interests focus on empirical finance
issues, such as the probability of bank default,
capital raising through initial public offerings,
the micro - and macro - economic
determinants of stock returns, and the effect
of exogenous shocks, such as terror attacks,
on capital and foreign exchange markets. He
is a member of the Editorial Board of several
international journals and his work has been
published in a number of refereed
international journals and books and
presented in international finance
conferences. He is also an Honorary Visiting
Research Fellow at Cass Business School,
London.

HRDA Subsidy**: €238,00
Net fee (after subsidy): €272,00
*No VAT is charged due to CIIM’s non-profit
status.

HRDA Criteria
**To be eligible to apply for the HRDA subsidy
you need to meet the following criteria:
You are working as employee on a full
time basis under a company that is
registered in the Registrar of Companies in
Cyprus
Both yourself and your company submit
the relevant contributions to the Social
Insurance and Industrial Training Scheme
Your participation is invoiced to and paid
by the company
You meet the participant profile of the
programme
Your company submits the respective
HRDA application to CIIM.
Special Discounts % 10% Discount - Early booking discount for registrations submitted 2 months prior to commencement of the programme. - For 2 registered employees attending from the same organisation. 15% Discount
- For CIIM students and Alumni after the subsidy or 25% discount on programmes which are not subsidized by the HRDA. Terms and Conditions apply. - For 3 or more registered employees attending from the same organisation. - For unemployed individuals on the fee before the subsidy and can remit their payment in instalments.
