PERSPECTIVE IN ISLAM ABOUT LIFE AFTER DEATH Muslims believe that the present life is a trial in preparation for the next realm of existence. When

a Muslim dies, he or she is washed and wrapped in a clean, white cloth (usually by a family member) and buried after a special prayer, preferably the same day. Muslims consider this a final service that they can do for their relatives and an opportunity to remember that their own existence here on earth is brief.

WHAT WILL HAPPEN IN THE GRAVE A jannatti(Angle of the death) will answer all questions correctly, the angels will open a door at his

leg side and will show Him Jahannum(hell) The angels will say:" This is what Allah has saved you from "There after they will open a door at his ride side and say: "this is your final abode" The grave will expand as far as ones eyes can see. The cool breeze of janaah will enter grave As for Jahannami(heaven), may Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'alaProtect us.ameen summa ameen. The grave will close and press him together that his ribs will interlock. Snakes, scorpions, whateverhe was afraid of will be in grave to punish him until Day of Resurrection.

WHAT THE ANGLE OF THE DEATH WILL DO? In the grave, the deceased Muslim - this composite of spirit and corpse - encounters

two terrifying angels, Munkar and Nakir, recognized by their bluish faces, their huge teeth and their wild hair. These angels carry out a trial to probe the soundness of a Muslim's faith. If the dead Muslim answers their questions convincingly and if he has no sin on record, then the grave is transformed into a luxurious space that makes bearable the long wait until the final judgment. But if a Muslim's faith is imperfect or if he has sinned during life by, for example, failing repeatedly to undertake purity rituals before prayer, then the grave is transformed into an oppressive, constricting space

Why People are afraid of death ? Because they do not know what lies ahead for them on the other side of death and they are afraid

of fear of pain, Suffering and sins.

THE JUDGMENT DAY During Divine judgment, it is believed that each person's Book of Deeds, in which

"every small and great thing is recorded”, will be opened. (Actions taken before puberty are not judged.) Throughout the judgment, the underlying principle is complete and perfect justice administered by God. Accounts of the judgment are also replete with the emphasis that God is merciful and forgiving, and that mercy and forgiveness will be granted on that day.

LOVE/DEATH: THE TRISTAN PROJECT BY Bill Viola

Like Viola's previous works, they range from room-sized video projections of image and sound to small, silent flat panel screens, and seek to deeply engage the viewer in a visceral and emotional experience that goes to the roots of the human condition, and its spiritual sources. Most of the works in 'LOVE/DEATH: The Tristan Project' arose from the hours of material that Viola produced for a new production of Richard Wagner's nineteenth century opera, 'Tristan und Isolde'. A collaboration between Viola, theatre director Peter Sellars, Esa-Pekka Salonen, conductor of the Los Angeles Philharmonic, and Kira Perov, executive director of the Bill Viola Studio, the opera was first presented in concert form in Los Angeles in December 2004, and received its fully staged premier in Paris at the National Opera Bastille in April 2005.
