MACSALAB JAW CRUSHERS

The range of MACSALAB Jaw Crushers is ideal for primary crushing of samples

of moderately hard materials for example:

• Coal • Limestone • Ore

• Minerals • Bricks & Rubble

Units are sturdily constructed in Cast Iron and utilise reversible hardwearing

Manganese Steel jaws.

MACSALAB ROLLS CRUSHERS

MACSALAB Rolls Crushers are designed for secondary reduction after jaw crushing. These smooth roll crushers will rapidly reduce coal, ore and hard rock from a maximum feed size of 20mm to fine sand. Ruggedly constructed & easy to operate. Breakage of material is by nipping action with minimal fines generated.

Fluted rolls are also available for both units.

MACSALAB 200 CROSS BEATER LAB MILLS (PULVERISERS)

The 200 Cross Beater Lab Mill is used for crushing:

Coal

Chemicals

Spices

Bricks

Soil

Ores & Minerals

and many more materials in the medium hard range.

 

Once the material is fed into the feed chute, it quickly flows into the mill grinding chamber where it is pulverised

against the chamber lining by impact with the fast moving hardened hammers.

Once the particles reach the required size they are discharged through interchangeable

screens into the collection bag or receptacle.

MACSA 300 OVERHUNG HAMMER MILLS (DISINTEGRATORS)

The MACSA 300 Overhung Hammermill (Disintegrator Mills) have been introduced to

satisfy the needs of laboratories, research institutions and industry requiring size

reduction on a semi production scale. The standard unit is powered by a 4kW drive

with a 380/525 Volt motor.

MACSA 300 Overhung Hammermills have been successfully installed in the following industries:

• Coal • Minerals & Ore • Sugar

• Food • Chemicals • Friable Grain

Once the particles reach the required size they are discharged through interchangeable screens

into the collection bag or receptacle.

MACSA Impact Hammer Mills are specially designed and fabricated for the reduction of medium to hard friable materials. Machines can be designed & manufactured with different combinations of hammers, screens, motors & housings to suit your specific application and requirements.

Test work can be conducted on your product sample at our on-site facility. Test work is used to select and size appropriate machines and can include through-put tests, milling tests and particle size distribution analysis. Final product size is defined by product, feed rate, fixed rotor speed and screen size.

The dynamically balanced rotors can be fitted with the following

beater configurations:

Three replaceable hard-faced swing beaters mounted on swinger plates

Multiple replaceable hard-faced swing hammers mounted on three

separate beater pins

The mill housing is fully lined with replaceable liner plates.

MACSALAB SINGLE POT BARREL MILLS

Variously known as a Barrel Mill, a Swing-Mill, a Ring Mill or a Stone & Disc Mill, this highly efficient grinding machine comprises a steel vessel containing a solid steel bar (stone) and one or two steel rings which oscillate with a rotary motion to grind materials from approximately 10mm lumps down to powders finer than 50 microns.

A particular feature of the MACSALAB Barrel Mill is that operation is dust free and, due to its ease of cleaning, the ground product can be fully recovered.

The 100cc & 250cc vessels are quickly and securely clamped to the machine by means of cam-action levers and swing-arms, and the oscillating motion is imparted to the vessels by mean s of a specially designed out-of-balance drive mechanism The unit is supplied with a sound-proof cabinet, which also contains a

motor starter and timer.

A Six-pot Barrel Mill utilizing 6 x 100cc grinding vessels is also available.

Grinding vessels can be supplied in Chrome Steel or Carbon Steel as standard,

with Tungsten Carbide vessels being available on request.

MACSALAB Rod / Ball Mill Vessels are available in 304 & 316 Stainless Steel, Rubber-liner Mild Steel as well as Ceramic (Alumina).

Rods are available in Stainless Steel and Arlicite. Grinding Spheres (balls) are available in Zirconia, Alumina and Arlicite. Quantity and sizes to clients’ specifications.

 

MACSALAB Drive Rolls for Rod / Ball Mills are rubber coated and manufactured in Double Roll models. The rolls are 120mm diameter x 1200mm long and powered by a 0.37 kW 220 V motor with variable speed controller.

 

SIZES: Rod / Ball Mills are available in 5, 7, 10, 15, 20 & 30 litre capacities

MACSALAB 6, 8 & 10 WAY CASCADE SPLITTERSMACSALAB Cascade Splitters are widely used in mining laboratories and refineries for free flowing material. The Cascade Splitter comprises a Stainless Steel feed hopper (i.e. 20, 10 or 5 litre capacity to client’s choice), vibrating feeder with variable speed control, Steel sample cutter and Stainless Steel 1 litre collection cups, as standard.

MACSALAB 8 & 16 WAY MICRO SPLITTERSFor use in laboratories needing to split small samples. MACSALAB Micro Splitter comprises a 500ml hopper, vibratory feeder tray and 8-way or 16-way rotary Aluminium sample cutter using thick wall glass tubes, 50ml capacity. The Mild Steel base of the unit is powder coated.Feed rate and rotational speed are both adjustable to suit the product being sampled

MACSALAB JONES RIFFLERS (SAMPLE SPLITTERS)The MACSALAB ranges of low cost manual Rifflers (Jones Type) are easy to operate and designed for use in general laboratory work for bulk material. Rifflers are constructed from Mild Steel and are supplied with a stand and 3 collection bins as standard. Select unit with slot width at least 3 times maximum particle size.Variations are also made to order and include special materials like Stainless Steel and multiple stack units.

DAVIS TUBE TESTERS Davis Tube Tester Model EDT is an indispensable laboratory unit for determining the ferromagnetic and nonmagnetic fractions of small samples of crushed magnetic iron ore, magnetite, pyrrhotite, etc.

It’s helpful in determining mesh of liberation, selectivity index, grade and recovery of ferromagnetic compounds. In operating plants, it serves as a control device by determining plant concentrate and tailing quality

Field intensity of 4000 gauss in center of the gap guarantees superior performance and consistent results. Variable speed of oscillation from one to 90 cycles per minute and adjustable angle of operation from horizontal to 45° provide flexibility to suit established laboratory procedures and personal preference. Tube rotation of 120° and stroke of 2 inches (51mm) are fixed standards.
