6.What is the difference between multiculturalism and ethnocentricity? Which mentality is Canada now known for having? When did we change from one to the other and why? Multiculturalism accepts all cultures and

values them equally. Ethnocentricity focuses on one culture and

believes it is superior to others. We are now known for multiculturalism. We changed AFTER 1945, when WW2

ended and we realized we had been racist and contributed to the atrocities of the Holocaust in our own way.
