1. Open the application

a. You can find it in the dock

b. You can search for it using the spyglass

2. Save the project

a.File>Save Project As(Name it according to your name and the project ie. Rachel 4Thought 29 Sep 12)

b.Create a new folder in the hard drive with your name

3. Set the Scratch Disk

a.Navigate to Final Cut Pro > System Settings

b.Click on Set, Navigate to your folder, Click on Choose
