Trim tool – FINAL CUT PRO X
The trim tool allowed us to edit clips, and alter the size of them, the is a useful tool because it allowed us to edit and cut parts of the clips that we no longer needed, or that we unnecessary.
Colour correction – FINAL CUT PRO X
The colour correct tool allowed us to edit the colour of our image. This was particularly useful when it came to editing our performance as it allowed to make the performance brighter which adds to the fun image we wanted to create of our artist.
Zoom tool – FINAL CUT PRO X
The zoom tool allowed us to zoom into individual clips, this was a useful tool to use because it allowed us to zoom into individual clips and edit them. By zooming into clips we where able to really pick them apart.
Blur Transition– FINAL CUT PRO X
The Blue transition we found useful when editing our narrative as it showed the passing of time, and allowed our audiences to see that the artist was having a bad day.
Enlarge tool– FINAL CUT PRO X
The enlarge tool allowed us to view if our video in full screen, this was a good tool to use as it allowed to to focus on every last detail and see if our video was the standard we wanted it to be.
Zoom tool– FINAL CUT PRO X
The zoom tool allowed us to zoom into all the clips, this was a useful tool as it allowed us to focus on all the clips and cut or blade them up so they where the length we wanted them to be.
Import tool – FINAL CUT PRO X
The import tool allowed us to import clips. Once we had imported clips we could then edit them. When importing the clips we had to select our SD card and select the clips that we wanted to import.
Adjustment tool - Photoshop
The adjustment icon on Photoshop, allowed us to edit the picture. Once we selected the icon it gave us a lot of different options, for editing our photo, such as Brightness/Contrast, and Levels.
Layer tool - Photoshop
The layer tool allowed us to edit what order the images came in and allowed us to put other images onto the top of other images, this was useful for creating a visual hierarchy.
Pen tool - Photoshop
The pen tool allowed us to enlarge our artist and back the background blue, because of this tool we were able to follow a clear colour scheme throughout out video.
Tool team- Photoshop
The text tool helped us with our branding, because of this tool we where able to select a font we thought was suitable to our magazine and digipak and allowed us to create a clear brand between all three products.
