WHAT WE DO NOFA-NY is the leading statewide organization working on behalf of farmers and consumers to promote local,
organic food and farming in New York State. We provide programs and services that assist farmers in organic
farming methods, connect them with consumers, and advocate policies that support a sustainable food and
farm system.
SPONSORSHIP AND ADVERTISING OPPORTUNITIES
Through our business sponsorships, educational events, and publications, we provide a unique opportunity for
your business to connect with thousands of farmers, gardeners, and consumers across the state who care about
local, organic food and farming.
New this year: Business Sponsorship Packages
Thanks to your feedback, we’re bringing you new business sponsorship packages that build on our high quality
events and print publications and increase your reach via social media, web, and on-line engagement. Business
Sponsorships include web based and social media exposure, event sponsorship, and advertising opportunities
throughout the year. They start at the Bronze level of $250, and go up to fully customized packages for our
Patron Business Sponsors. In addition, when you sponsor NOFA-NY at the Bronze level or above, your
sponsorship includes membership in NOFA-NY for eligible organizations. Find out more on page 5.
Continuing to Offer Event Sponsorship and Advertising
In addition to the comprehensive business sponsorship packages, NOFA-NY continues to offer the option to

Digital and Social Media
o More than 8,500 people follow us on social media (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter), with a weekly reach ranging from 5,000 – 7,000 and averaging 500 – 700 engagements and 20 new followers each week.
o Our web site (www.nofany.org) attracts 5,000 visits a month – and is being updated now with a new look and additional features that will attract more visits in 2016
o Our eNews reaches 9,000 people, 36 times a year o Our blog is published on a variety of topics several times a month, and is automatically linked to our
social media and web platforms o Our on-line Food and Farm Guide (www.nofany.org/directory) was launched in April 2015 and currently
reaches 500-600 people a month o Our on-line Farmer and Gardener Resource Guide is being launched this year, and stats will be available

Educational Events
o The NOFA-NY Winter Conference is among the largest in the region, with more than 1,100 attendees over 3 days at more than 80 workshops and keynote presentations.
o The Organic Dairy and Field Crop Conference is one of the few of its kind in the nation, and has a growing attendance now reach 200, with 12 workshops and keynote speakers in a day-long conference.
o We hold 25 or more on-farm field days throughout the growing season each year, with 750-1,000 attendees annually.
Printed Publications
o Our Educational event programs and brochures (Winter Conference program, Dairy Conference program, and Field Day Brochure) reach nearly 10,000 farmers and gardeners.
o Our popular Food and Farm Guide reaches more than 5,000 households.

2016 Field Days Brochure Advertising
Our Field Days Brochure is mailed each spring to about
1800 farmers and gardeners interested in learning about
organic and sustainable farming and gardening in an “on
the farm” setting. The brochure can also be found on our
website and is promoted through the use of social media.
