The renowned landmark, Sultan Omar Ali Saifuddien Mosque, which was built from 1954 to 1985 has 4 domes that are made up of real gold and was personally designed by the 28th sultan of Brunei who also known as an architect.

Taman Haji Sir Muda Omar Ali Saifuddien is located at the heart of Bandar Seri Begawan. There will be a huge celebration during the National Day or the birthday of the Sultan of Brunei.

It display are the chariot used during the sultan's 1992 silver jubilee procession which the chariot is accompanied by an army of traditionally dressed headless mannequins representing those present on the day.

Sultan Omar Ali Saifuddien Mosque was built with 4 domes that are made up of real gold. Besides, the ceremonial stone boat sitting in the lagoon is a replica of a 16th-century mahl-igai(royal barge).

Brunei central park

ELEVATION

PERSPECTIVEBrunei Central Park is a 400 meter long walkway park that are specially created to the local citizens. The best way to see it all is by bicycle. For an early morning jaunt, head to the park anytime after 6 am, you can rent a bike at the bike shop lot for 2 hours which only cost you BND 10.

After that, you can visit the Royal Brunei museum where it displays the chariot used during the sultan's 1992 silver jubilee procession which the chariot is accompanied by an army of traditionally dressed headless mannequins representing those present on the day. After visiting the museum, you can either go to the shop lots eat nor visit another park named Taman Haji Sir Muda Omar Ali Saifuddien which is a big field where the local can play soccer, freebies and even picnic to enjoy the nature.

You can take your time cycling through the pavement, stopping to see the water splashing fountain where children can play around with it. Following your bike ride, treat yourself an ice-cream at the shop lot.

Furthermore, continuing cycling, you can see the shining “diamond monument“. After you enjoy the view at the park, you can go visit the renowned mosque in Brunei which the 4 domes are made up of real gold. Enjoying while walking at the lagoon, you can take a rest at the gazebo and chit chatting with your friends.
