How do the M300 filters work ?
The M300 series removes dirtparticles as water flows throughthe coarse (1) and fine screens(2) to the outlet. The particlesaccumulate on the fine screeneventually increasing thepressure differential between itsinner and outer surfaces. At apreset value, the rinse controller(8) activates the hydraulic valves(5) and piston (6). This results inthe release a backflush streamthat flows out of the hydraulicmotor chamber (4) via thenozzles (3) to the drainage pipe.
This stream causes a pressuredrop in the motor chamber thatcreates the suction effect of thenozzles (5) for spot cleaning thefine screen’s inner surfacedirectly in front of the openingsof each nozzle. The helicalmovement of the dirt collectorassembly (9) ensures that thesuction nozzles sweep theentire inner surface of the finescreen as follows:
• The backflush water flowsthrough the dirt collectorpipe, via the hydraulic motor
(7) to the hydraulic valves (5).This causes the dirt collectorassembly (9) to spin. The firststroke begins when thepressure-drop in the motorchamber (4) and drainagefrom the piston drive thespinning dirt collectorassembly toward the piston.
• When the first stroke iscompleted, the dirt collector(9) moves toward the filtercover returning to its originalposition.

How the M400 bypass feature worksThe cost-effective built-in bypassfeature of the M400 filter ensuresthe constant supply of water to theend-user’s equipment or process. The bypass operation mode istriggered when the screen becomesblocked. In this mode, the M400releases unfiltered water essentialfor applications that require water -even if contaminated. Once thescreen is cleaned, the filteresumes normal operation.
